🦌We had the privilege to mount 3 deer from 2 states for a customer last year that had an absolute banner year of hunting.

Left Illinois bow 163, middle MI bow 137, and right Illinois gun 146.

Hello everyone!!

I want to start by saying thank you to all the successful deer hunters that brought in deer this past season. We are very thankful for everyone’s support and look forward to seeing you all again this upcoming deer season!

For all the Turkey hunters out there, we will not be taking any life size mounts this year. We will be doing turkey fan mounts with customized plaques for anyone interested.

Here’s the story on the big 6! Thanks for sharing Rex.

“Opening day firearm deer 2021 was a date to remember. What an epic ride this buck gave me, with recently losing a good friend and deciding to use a single shot H&R 12 ga. That i got from him a few years ago. I sat in my deer blind with dark coffee in hand and asked my buddy to send me a bruiser. As the day went on and seeing a few doe and a small 1 1/2 year old 8 pt (that I decided to pass on), this beautiful buck walks out of nowhere just 60 yards in front of me. Honestly nerves kicked in a bit and I squeezed off a shot. The deer bounded off just a short distance and stopped for what seemed an eternity. I was doubting if my bullet connected. Thats when I wished i hadn’t forgotten my backpack at camp with the remainder of my shells inside. I watched the buck slip over the ridge out of sight. With darkness falling and not knowing if shot placement was good enough, I decided to back out and wait till morning. This way daylight and help from my hunting companions including my wife, my grandson, and my brother along with a few good friend could track this deer.

The next day after many hours and 3/4 of a mile later we exhausted every option to locate this animal. Depressed and feeling at a low that all hunters get when an animal is wounded and not found, I did not hunt that evening or the next morning. However since I needed to go pull down my stand I decided to go search a ditch and small woodlot thinking maybe he circled 3/4 mile back to his bedding area. As I stepped in a thicket two doe and a large racked buck jumped up out of some water giving me a quartering away shot. BOOM! The single shot rings again. The buck runs a short distance and piles up into the brush! Amazingly, it was the same deer that i shot at two days prior! What a happy ending and thank you crew for all the help and thank you Big Pete for sending me such a beautiful animal 🦌 “
