Soupie did great at the anthracite heritage festival today! She got lots of petting and showed off her cute little spoon tongue at the water fountain. She actually fell asleep in her carrier on the way home. She did a good job showing folks how cute reptiles can be

Goodness TARDIS got big in not even a whole year of life. She dwarfs her brother by twice his weight and length. She was born last summer in 22.

in the event a crested gecko bites you, stay calm. laughing too hard might scare the gecko more. (their bite is like being grabbed with a damp sock)

What makes a Lilly white unique? The scales! Notice how bittersweet has some yellowy tinted scales in with the white ones, scales that are puffy looking? That is one of the key features of lilies. The white also tends to spread over time. Most of the time those puffy yellow and white scales will cover the sides and tail, but some lillies don't have a solid white tail. The spikes crested geckos are famous for will often be puffier too, but not always!

Did some pore checking today. So now I have a rough idea of who might be a boy or a girl amongst my juvies. Looks like Bratwurst is a likely male. Haluski is likely female. And SoS is likely male. In a month or so I should be able to look for pores on my younger hatchies too
