It's Tinker!!!! I went over to help give his sister some medicine the other day (She's okay, just pulled a muscle) and Tink was fast asleep! I've never seen him sleeping 😂 When I'm there he's always busy following me around😂 Such a silly boy!

This has been a very hard month for my pet sitting family.

We lost sweet Frankee a few weeks ago. She was spunky even at 14! So very sweet, and LOVED ear rubs❤️ She was very loved and lived a beautiful, long life💕💕

This last weekend Heidi also passed away. Her sweet parents waited to tell me in person because they knew I loved her, too💔 She was a feisty little lady and liked to give me a run for my money! She was also 14 and had a life filled with comfort and love 💕💕

Also, this weekend my buddy Jake passed away way to soon. He was only 7 💔 A wonderful life that was way to short. Jake loved EVERYONE! He was playful, silly, and never had a bad day! Everyday with Jake was full of love and so much joy! He was so loved and very spoiled 💕💕

Loss is so hard. My heart goes out to each of my clients and their families. All of these dogs were so special in such different ways! The worst part of being a pet parent is when we have to say goodbye💔 These three were so lucky to all have amazing lives filled with so much LOVE💕💕

As many of you know, I unexpectedly lost my younger brother, Dillon, in March. My brother was an amazing human and this loss has been devastating to our family. Although I only took a couple weeks off from petsitting (it was good for me to stay busy), I have been neglecting this page for months. It's time to start sharing all the awesome furry faces again. I have a huge backlog of cute photos from the last 7 months that deserve to be shared! I want to start with these pictures of my little *big* brother. The first is him on my pony Chester at about 4 years old, and the second is from last year❤️ He was so excited to hop on Envy and take a stroll around my yard❤️ My horse is normal sized, my brother was just soooo tall!!
Also, I'm so grateful for all the love my wonderful clients and friends showed me during this difficult time❤️ I'm happy to be back to sharing some of the joy these animals bring me!

As most of you know, Kado is a retired military dog that I watch frequently. His owner has had a lot of out of town work this year, and this sweet boy was getting lonely (he's his dad's shadow when he's home). I decided to ask dad if I could try bringing Kado over to my house for a playdate, hoping to help with his loneliness when dad's gone. It went better than I could have ever imagined. Kado and Bohdi were instant best friends!!! They played for three hours straight, then Kado got a bath and blow dry, then they played non stop again until it was time to go home. Everyone in my family loved him, and my husband even wanted him to spend the night😂 I ended up taking him home late because they just couldn't stop playing and settle down. It made my heart happy to see my whole crew love this amazing boy as much as I do💕💕💕 Needless to say, Kado will be having frequent visits to my house next time dad has to leave!!!

What was everyone's first job?? Did you love it? My first "unofficial" job was petsitting for my wonderful 4H leader. I remember feeling so honored that she asked me to care for her pets. She had very well cared for animals (horses, dogs, and cats) and it was a big job for a 13 year old. I LOVED it! After I pet sat for her, I started caring for several different neighbors pets and continued doing that until I moved away. Those first jobs (and awesome neighbors) taught me so much. I wonder if they hadn't given me that opportunity, if I still would have ended up in animal care?!? This is a photo of my pony and I after winning first place in a gymkhana event❤️ Chester was the best pony ever❤️
