***ADOPTION DAY*** Little Dale will be living in Kanab, Utah with Jessica and her father. She’s going to get all the snuggles & love that she desires. Not to mention all the furry friends, because Jessica works at Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab. Who could want for more, but to be surrounded by so many animal lovers!

***ADOPTION DAY*** Sweet little Jan has found her forever home! She will be so content & happy with the Reams who recently lost their dog “Oreo” Jan’s warmth & affection will help fill the hole in their hearts. Jan needs & loves to be held. The Reams are certainly willing to fill that need! Jan will be missed by all of us, but especially by her sister Marty who is still waiting for her forever family!

I love these two ladies! Suzy (I remember her being called that 20 yrs ago) was head of the Rec Department. We interacted with her a lot during baseball & basketball season. Sonny has already
decompressed. He wasn’t even excited to see me after being with them for a couple of days 😂 That’s the goal. He’s got a wonderful family now & I’m thrilled.

I still have 8 little ones looking for their forever homes. These are the sweetest, cuddliest little dogs.

We had something very sad happen here last night. Little Chip with his very fragile long legs had an accident and broke his front left leg. He has to have surgery & even have a plate put in his leg. It’s going to cost quite a bit. I’m asking for help!! If you could call the vets office and donate to CHIP’s account under Linda Millar I would really appreciate it. Waiting to hear when his surgery will be.

We are ever so grateful for those who sent us items from our wish list. I took pictures after I opened the packages & started using them. The toys are perfect & we needed the food so much! I don’t like putting people on the spot, so please know we know who you are & we are eternally grateful. Oh, but the stuffed toys? That box didn’t have a note, so please let me know who you are.
We really appreciate the support. 🙏 Every little bit helps!

Meet Sheba. The sweetest German Shepherd who is very gentle with the puppies in our rescue. She loves sitting in the kiddie pool & is very patient as she waits for me to open her kennel every morning. She has the intimidating looks of a German Shepherd, but the demeanor of a Labrador Retriever!

We started rescuing dogs in January. This little girl came to us with her sister. She was half the size of her sister, very sickly looking. With the help of Jennifer Ward from Save-A-Mutt, we got her all better!! And then with the help of Wendy from Central Coast Herding Dog Rescue an adopter was found. She was our 3rd adoption & here is the result:

This is Bigley. He will be 2 years old soon. Neutered, vaccinated & chipped
He is half “Chiweenie” and half MINATURE ALASKAN KLEE KAI. What is that breed you ask? Here’s a description:

The Miniature Alaskan Klee Kai looks like a miniature version of a Siberian Husky. The name “Klee Kai” is an Inuit term for “small dog.” While this breed has a physical resemblance to a Husky, they do have some important differences. Their temperament is more suited to life as a companion dog, in opposition to the strong work ethic held by Huskies. The Miniature Alaskan Klee Kai is a high-energy dog who is prone to sharing his emotions. This breed is loyal, affectionate, and sweet with the right amount of care, exercise, and attention. This brother (SOL) & sister (LUNA) duo are ready for adoption. Both have been spayed/neutered. They are about 8 months old & are potty trained. Both have been raised around a small dog and a cat with no problems at all. Both are eager to learn. Poor babies were dropped off in front of a school when they were tiny. A Good Samaritan has been raising them into the fine dogs they are now. They are not bonded & can be separated.

ADOPTION DAY: Kobi was so excited to get adopted she jumped in the back seat ready to go! Perfect match-up. Kobi no longer has to deal with 20 other dogs & she’ll have the full attention of her human. She’ll be chasing balls all day! Thanks Raine Miller for introducing me to Kobi. If I wasn’t working dog rescue, I definitely would have kept her as my ❤️ dog, but she needed what I can’t give her right now. She’s going to be so happy.
