Dogs benefit from having their nails trimmed every 3-4 weeks! I’ve noticed Huey’s white nails grow much faster than Brick’s black ones!

If you’re working on pushing the quicks back, a small trim weekly will help with that! As well as, walks on the pavement!

Near and dear to my heart, our little Queen Bee Lily is the Breed of the Day!

Cairn Terriers are happy, busy little earthdogs originally bred to fearlessly root out foxes and other small, furred prey in the rocky Scottish countryside.

Why do you love the breed?

Bricks nail trim is always a process. We take our time, use lost of treats, and get done only what we need too. Today, we only did front feet! This is easy compared to how it used go. We just needed to build trust and take our time…
(Just like everything else with this little cattle dog!)

⚠️ Safety first ⚠️

- If any medications are needed for vet visits, I recommend giving your pets the same medication if this would be considered a stressful event for them. BUT I am willing to try without medication and work with them, within reason!

- I will require your help to restrain your pet for all of our safety!

- I have muzzles available for our friends that need a little extra back up!
(I love a good muzzle for all sort of things! This doesn’t mean they’re bad kids!)
