💙We are so excited to announce that these two handsome and sweet Guinea pigs are available for adoption!!💙

(To put in an application please follow the link at the bottom of this post, link will also be in my bio)

Things to know about Jack (the smaller one) and John(the bigger one)
- both are males
-both love frozen and fresh veggies
- we highly believe they are father and son but have not done dna paternity testing on them.
- Jack is under a year old(at least 6-8months old)
- John is over a year old, going on 2 years.
(All ages are estimated)

•They were originally abandoned after the most recent hurricane and found behind a telephone poll in a shallow hole covered in branches, they were unable to escape when we found them.
They were thankfully found with no injuries and just a little traumatized but have done so well adjusting.

•They are the most loving sweet and very opinionated little guys I’ve ever met! They are most definitely bonded so they need to go to a loving home that can keep them together. Must have your own small carrier to transport them.

•We prefer they go to someone who is familiar with guinea pigs with either knowledge of this animal type or had/currently has guinea pigs. We are willing to consider people new to Guinea pigs as long as they can provide proof of preparedness with everything they need as we will not be giving any supplies with them.

🎃👻Halloween safety tips for our beloved pets👻🎃

As you prepare for a spooky night, don’t forget to keep your furry friends safe! Here are some important tips to ensure your pets have a fun and stress-free Halloween:

🐾 No Treats for Pets!
Candy can contain dangerous ingredients like chocolate or xylitol, which are toxic to animals. Stick to pet-safe training treats or bones! If you want to include them in the holiday give them some pumpkin purée! They’ll thank you for it 🎃

🐾 ID is Essential!
Make sure your pets have a collar with an ID tag and if able to are microchipped. This way, they can be returned quickly if they slip away.

🎃Keep Costumes & Decor Out of Reach.
Costume pieces, decorations, and small parts can cause choking or internal injuries if pets chew on or swallow them.

💀Comfortable Costumes Only!
If your pet loves dressing up, ensure their costume fits well and doesn’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision.

👻Create a Safe Space.
With parties, doorbells, and new faces, Halloween can overwhelm pets. Give them a quiet room where they can feel secure and give them an enrichment activity to amuse them during the festivities.

Description: Grey, very friendly and vocal cat. Turned up on my back porch just before the hurricane and has not left since then. She is chipped but not registered to anyone.

Our Newest Rescues have an interesting story to tell…

On Oct 16 these Guinea pig boys(yes confirmed males) were found behind a light pole down the street from our home. Our local neighborhood dog was barking at the said pole for almost an hour, we did try coaching him away with treats to see what was making him go crazy before we realized what he was barking at. When I went to further investigate I found these two in a hole under some branches😱. We don’t know how long they were out there for. I found them around 10am so they could have very well been out all night and morning.

We made a post on the local lost and found sites as well as Facebook groups but unfortunately no one has showed up or messaged to claim them.

We believe the smaller one is between 6-8months old, while we are unsure about the other males age, we believe he is over a year maybe 2 years old. Otherwise we will be getting them checked out soon to make sure they are fully healthy and address any health concerns they do have asap.

Until they find their forever home they are gonna have full belly’s, lots of love,snuggles and playtime
