As the weather gets warmer, we are seeing more and more parasites. We have recently had two positive heartworm 🪱 patients.

With that said, is your pet on a preventative? We will be offering a spring special now through July 1. If you purchase a box (six-month supply) of Simparica Trio directly from our office, we will take 50% off your pet's heartworm test!

Pets should be tested yearly and should be on prevention year-round. Please call our office today for more information and any restrictions.

Please keep in mind that many plants are toxic and can even be fatal to our feline friends. Easter is one of the most common holidays for plants including lilies. Even the smallest amount of pollen from lilies can cause kidney failure.
We wish everyone a safe and quiet holiday!

Good morning! A client recently informed us that we have been nominated for best vet clinic in our area! Over the years we have seen and heard of places advertising to vote for their business but never took out ads to get votes. Since enough people nominated us we feel it’s worthy of a share since we made the ballot! If you have had the opportunity to meet our staff and have your pet seen by one of our amazing veterinarians and agree we are the best in the area then please click the link and vote for us! We always strive to be the best in customer service, compassion and veterinary care. We hope you see the difference in our drs and staff! We are a LOCALLY owned clinic providing amazing care for your pets and always appreciate the happy reviews and kind words of our clients! The link takes you to this contest and we would be honored to receive your vote!

Please always be kind to your veterinary team.

***UPDATE***
Our little lady was adopted to her fur-ever home. 🥰

Meet "Mable". She is an adorable 4 month old kitten (she now weighs 4lbs) who needs a home. She is an absolute doll and a favorite among staff (she purrs nonstop). We just are all full of our own "misfit toys". She was rescued along with several litter mates a few months ago. She was very skinny, weighed barely 1lb, had ringworm, fleas, tapeworms, a severe upper respiratory infection that caused a large hole in her eye. It was bad enough that her iris pulled forward to close off the hole (cool to see medically, but that just says how close she was to needing her eye removed). Her eye color looks a bit different on that side, but she can still see out of it. She will need unscented and dust free litter as it causes more eye irritation. She may have chronic respiratory issues. She has been Felv/fiv tested, been vaccinated for FVRCP, Rabies and has been spayed. Please only respond if you own your own home and can promise to love and provide for her for her entire life. We would prefer she have an indoor only lifestyle. I would happily keep her as a clinic kitty, but she deserves better; she needs to have a human to enjoy her purr and for her to be able to run and cartwheel everywhere.

As we welcome the new year, our office is implementing some important changes aimed at enhancing our ability to serve our clients and patients more effectively. Our team has been dedicating a significant amount of time working with outsourced pharmacies to ensure patients receive the medications they need. Unfortunately, this has impacted our staff's availability to assist patients directly. Additionally, we've encountered multiple errors with faxes and emails from outsourced pharmacies, creating further challenges.

To address these concerns, we are excited to announce the launch of our own online pharmacy, designed to be competitive with other online options. You can now access our pharmacy directly from our website under the "Online Pharmacy" section. This new service will allow clients to access medications and food items we do not carry in-house, or for those who prefer the convenience of having medications and food shipped directly to their home.

For clients who wish to continue using their current pharmacies, we will still provide hand written prescriptions. These prescriptions will require a 24-hour notice, and can be picked up by the client for delivery to any pharmacy choice. Controlled medications will be written for up to one month at a time, while non-controlled medications can be filled for up to three months at the doctor’s discretion. Medications and food items filled through our office or online pharmacy may be provided for longer durations, depending on the doctor’s assessment.

We understand that change can be challenging, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to improve our services for our clients, patients, and team.

Thank you 🐾
