As the weather gets warmer, we are seeing more and more parasites. We have recently had two positive heartworm 🪱 patients.

With that said, is your pet on a preventative? We will be offering a spring special now through July 1. If you purchase a box (six-month supply) of Simparica Trio directly from our office, we will take 50% off your pet's heartworm test!

Pets should be tested yearly and should be on prevention year-round. Please call our office today for more information and any restrictions.

Please keep in mind that many plants are toxic and can even be fatal to our feline friends. Easter is one of the most common holidays for plants including lilies. Even the smallest amount of pollen from lilies can cause kidney failure.
We wish everyone a safe and quiet holiday!

***UPDATE***
Our little lady was adopted to her fur-ever home. 🥰

Meet "Mable". She is an adorable 4 month old kitten (she now weighs 4lbs) who needs a home. She is an absolute doll and a favorite among staff (she purrs nonstop). We just are all full of our own "misfit toys". She was rescued along with several litter mates a few months ago. She was very skinny, weighed barely 1lb, had ringworm, fleas, tapeworms, a severe upper respiratory infection that caused a large hole in her eye. It was bad enough that her iris pulled forward to close off the hole (cool to see medically, but that just says how close she was to needing her eye removed). Her eye color looks a bit different on that side, but she can still see out of it. She will need unscented and dust free litter as it causes more eye irritation. She may have chronic respiratory issues. She has been Felv/fiv tested, been vaccinated for FVRCP, Rabies and has been spayed. Please only respond if you own your own home and can promise to love and provide for her for her entire life. We would prefer she have an indoor only lifestyle. I would happily keep her as a clinic kitty, but she deserves better; she needs to have a human to enjoy her purr and for her to be able to run and cartwheel everywhere.
