Oh my ❤️! Remembering Fish with 💜

Fish came to us from a high kill shelter in Memphis & was rescued right before he was to be euthanized.

When we took him to our local shelter to get microchipped, Hollie discovered he already had one. His ex-humans had adopted Fish from the same Memphis Shelter as a kitten 15 YEARS AGO! Ex-human told me he got lost while they were moving.
And NO, she did not want him back…

FISH lived to be 22, spending his last 7 years showering us with love & being one of our best friends. Fish was family.

Please consider adopting a Senior Kittizen.
Especially this time of year when horrible humans surrender their old pets for a Christmas kitten or puppy 🙏🏼❤️💚🐈

Some of the shyest cats have turned into some of my best friends, family.

We pulled a cat last year from a shelter that was going to be euthanized. Her brother died & she was TERRIFIED. She would not allow anyone to touch her. She was deemed “unadoptable”.

We saw through the fear & brought her our home-based Sanctuary. It took a few months but she came around & learned to trust. To love.

Her nickname is now Velcro 😹

We had so much interest on our beautiful snowshoe kitty posted earlier so we wanted to let everyone know about this beautiful girl. Skippy Jones is a gorgeous female snowshoe who is 10 months old. She is a shy girl so she won’t be available at Petco, but she is thriving in her foster home. If you would like to meet this sweet girl please send us a message.

Our first baby doe of the year!!! 🥰 We provide safe shelter for wildlife as well on our property. No hunting is allowed. ✌🏼💜 🦌 (This is one of our many security cams that has turned into a “Wildlife” cam. #mississippiwildlife

Two of Dinah’s cats, MERLYN & TABATHA are very social & will most likely transition a bit faster. Merlyn is a big girl & my goodness, I can’t wait to snuggle with this precious girl! And Tabitha (Dinah called her Tabitat) is stunningly beautiful but digging the quietness & soft lighting allowing her to decompress at her own speed & need. Merlyn & Tabitha are in a small spare bathroom. We thought this room would be more suitable for their acclimation into a new home rather than the cages due to their calmer personalities. We are so blessed to be Dinah’s Pet Guardian & looking forward to the next 15+ years loving on all four! 😻❤️

Please welcome PREACHER & his new temporary Penthouse in the Catio! Preacher has been known for his free spirit & not very fond of being handled. However, he has been a gentleman to us so far. Welcome, Preacher! Your Mama Dinah loves you so much 💜🙏🏼🐈‍⬛

UPDATE: THANK YOU!! A larger cat condo with extra shelves & a cushion have been gifted for Dinah/Chloe. This will help with her transition so much! Yall are the absolute BEST!! 😻 Both Felix & Dinah/Chloe were recently rescued from our local shelter. Both had CAUTION signs on their cages. Chloe, rightfully so. Felix on the other hand just wanted a quiet home & walked out of his kennel & into our home-based sanctuary like he had lived here all his life. Felix ❤️ everyone & really gentles the groove. Every cat rescue needs a Felix as he is our Peace Purrtrol Officer 😻 Dinah needs a larger cage as she adjusts to a multi-pet environment. We do give her time out in a small bathroom to stretch her legs, etc but she prefers being with us. But in her own world for now. DINAH NEEDS A BIGGER CAT CAGE to adjust.
