We said goodbye to lots of axolotls today!
Our waitlist is officially over and we are now on first come first serve.

We are open tomorrow and Monday for pick up, and you can still grab an axy at the introductory price of $50 before they go up to their regular pricing after we get back from our vacation later this month.

SCHOOLS (almost) OUT FOR SUMMER!

What better way to go into summer than with added responsibility? Keep the kiddos on their toes and axolotl questions this summer!

Axolotls are doing fantastic and will be ready for their homes next week. Messages will go out to our waitlist first, and there is still room on it, so message us your phone number and email and you will be one of the first to come pick up your new friend(s)!

We can’t wait to give these creatures loving homes ❤️

Here we also have “dirty leucistic” babies. These also have a golden color, with brown speckles and dark eyes. These carry the GFP glowing gene as well.

Getting images of baby aquatic animals has proven to be a skill I have yet to master…

Here we have our golden albino axolotls, in the black light photos you will see the three that carry the GFP gene (green fluorescent protein- the same protein first discovered in jelly fish!).
