We would love to get this happy, sweet boy out of the south and into a Chicago foster home this weekend. March 22.

Louie is a 1 year old parti poodle, 40 lbs but VERY thin. Getting weight on him will be a top priority.
He needs love, food & snuggles. He has not had a good life prior to now, can someone give this baby some love?

Fully vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and has an appointment on April 9 to be neutered at a Chicagoland vet.

Message us if you are up for a fun happy boy. Note: he will need off leash time - fenced yard or dog park.

Dog friendly. Cat friendly. Loves all humans.

How is it possible this sweet girl had not found herforever home yet?
Maisy loves to go... anywhere....she is always up for a carride. LOVES walks. Noise and traffic do not bother her.
She gets along with all dogs and has lived with children.
25 lbs
2-3 years old
House trained
Spayed,microchipped, UTD on everything.
A happy, sweet, gentle loving dog. Maisy would be fine asan only dog.
She sleeps on her foster mom's bed at night. Excellentsnuggler.
If we can find a foster for her beginning Saturday, March 22, she can come to Chicago.

Sweet Aspen!! She is a very good girl…young, healthy, happy.
Aspen was only 20 something lbs when we rescued her from the shelter but her foster mom fattened her up and she was able to be spayed last week.

Loves everyone. Very friendly with all dogs. Playful & fun.

Aspen is ready to find her forever family. She is available for adoption to the northeast. Also available to Chicago if she has a foster.

This is the email I received back from MAS this morning when I inquired about her foster mom picking her up.

Who knows what’s going on and who can help us get this girl out before they euthanize her?

Most people search by breeds, so listing her correctly is very important.

She’s 11 lbs and very fluffy. Breed ideas?

She’s shy. She’s scared. She’s sweet.

Can you foster her for a couple of weeks? Memphis, TN

If someone in Chicago would like to foster her? We could get her there on 3/22 or 3/23.
She would need a Memphis foster until then.

We took Brutus to the Animal Emergency Center in Memphis on Friday and they’ve been caring for him there. Changing his bandages and giving him his meds, keeping him calm. We went by to see him today, poor guy, he’s so sad, he doesn’t trust people, at all.

When we got too close to him, he would tremble and we don’t think we are scary people - we believe he’s scared of everyone. Humans have not been kind to him. We took hotdogs with him today, hoping he would take some from our hand, but he didn’t, so we put a few bites in his kennel and he didn’t eat those either.

The clinic says that he’s eating and drinking well. He is heart worm positive and un-neutered - he has had no vet care. Probably ever.

He’s a very sad dog, but we have a good feeling about him. We don’t know why, but we just do. We think there’s a kind soul in there who wants to come out. The vet estimates him at 5 years old.
