UPDATE!!!!!!…..Thanks to our wonderful groomer Emily Frankie has been found!! It was after dark, that’s her sitting in the corner by the curb. Emily opened up the salon door and waited for in her car hoping that she would just go in on her own but it took her Emily laying down on that sidewalk to get her to come to her but she did it! She is back in our salon safe!!! Thank you to everyone who shared our post, we are so thankful!!

LOST!!!
We rescued this sweet girl from the Publix parking lot a few months ago. This morning shortly before 8am while she was waiting for us to get to the salon and greet us in the lobby as she usually does something spooked her and she bolted out the door as we came in.
It took us a while to get her comfortable with people and although she has come to love us and is super friendly with us she is still timid around strangers. If you see her please call the salon or if it’s after hours please message our page. Her name is Frankie and she is a tortie shell female with a tipped ear and her tail hangs rather than her being able to hold it up. Please share our post and help us bring Frankie home. 804-520-2275

MISSING IN COLONIAL HEIGHTS

Our new shop cat Frankie made a run for it this morning and we can't find her. We are right off of the Boulevard on Orange Ave - across from Sherwood Hills Automotive, last we saw she ran towards the back of our building possibly toward Caliber Collision. Bark Avenue participated in our first Colonial Heights Christmas parade last night! Our theme was helping Santa get all the dogs groomed and packaged up to deliver on Christmas morning. It rained on us but our spirits were bright and the crowd loved seeing our dogs! Let us know if you were there at the parade and saw us!

This month we are celebrating Tuna’s 18TH BIRTHDAY all month! Tuna is one of our two shop cats who can usually be found stretched out on one of the cat beds somewhere in the salon. I rescued her from a dumpster 18 years ago so we thought it would be great to give back to the community in her name for her birthday. All month we will be taking donations of cat items to share with the local shelters if anyone would like to bring something in! Thanks so much and happy birthday Tuna!
