Bottle Babies Kitten Rescue and Rehab

Our mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate, Re-home
abandoned kittens. We serve mainly the central Colorado region. How the process works:

1.

If there is a need in the surrounding areas such as Pueblo, Castle Rock, Denver and Northern Colorado please feel free to contact us. We receive a request from you for a kitten in need. If it is an urgent need, we will try our best to return your call ASAP.

2. We come pick up the kitten/kittens and assess what the needs are.

3. Depending on the need, we will ensure veterinary care is provided if

needed. Otherwise, a foster home will be provided where around the clock care is given.

4. The kitten stays in the foster home until they are old enough to be weaned onto solid food. They will then be assessed for adoptability.

5. As long as the kitten is healthy and strong, the adoption qualification process will match the kitten to their loving forever home.

Kitten season is now in full swing! Keep your eyes open and stay aware of your surroundings. While very sad and unfortunate, this is when many unwanted kittens get left by or in dumpsters and alongside the road. They may also find themselves abandoned by their mothers outdoors, in sheds, outbuildings or abandoned buildings. So if you're out going for a walk or drive, be aware- you might just save a life!

Did you know?
Many shelters and humane societies (including local organizations here in Colorado) either do not have the capacity or have very limited capacity to care for young orphaned kittens. As a result, often times if the kitten is not old enough to eat on it's own, it will be euthanized.
It is a common reaction when stray animals are found in the community to take them directly to a local humane society. While normally this may be the best solution for animals to be returned to their owners, it may not be the best solution for young abandoned neonates.

If you know me, you know that my passion in life is animals. One of the most fulfilling things I get to do is helping injured, sick or abandoned animals. One of the biggest needs I have come across in my veterinary technician career has been the young, helpless, abandoned kittens who have come under my care. And that is who I'm focused on helping with this cause. The more people that know someone out there is willing to care for these animals, the less they will become abandoned by humans. So if you hear of baby kittens who seem abandoned by their mamas and/or their humans and need expert, loving, round the clock care, please let me know. I'll bottle feed them, wean them, and place them in loving forever homes. Help me help those who can't help themselves.
