Tiger’s Eye is proving to be an amazing first time mother. In addition to taking excellent care of her own 6, she has also taken in a few of Morning Glory’s hoglets that were born 3 days ago. Morning Glory is an amazing hog, but not the greatest mom. She is still caring for one of her own but I am watching her closely. In the meantime, Tiger’s Eye is getting chicken and a little extra calcium in addition to her regular diet to help her along with this amazing feat. She definitely has my respect!

This is one of Cricket’s babies anointing. I accidentally had the camera set to slo-mo and it was a fabulous mistake. Watching a baby hedgehog anointing in slo-mo is one of the coolest things ever!
