This is my story, I am a mother of a missing adult child. My daughter went missing on 11/26/2010. My daughter went to go visit friends Thanksgiving evening on Friday the next day I was told that my daughter was missing at 8:45 pm that evening. This is a call no mother wants to get. I drove as fast as I could to a location that I was to meet with the police. I gave the basic information to start se
arching for her, it was very critical that they started a immediate search do to the elements, and weather condictions which was in 25 degree weather. We searched through the night. Early the next morning I had to drive back to her home and get a article of clothing that a search and rescue dog could use for tracking her scent. ( more lost time).On the third day I was asked if I could provide dental records, because of the Holiday weekend I would not be able to get them. (more time lost). We did not have a happy ending my daughters body was found 5 days later on 12/01/2010. After my daughters tragic death, I wanted to make a difference to help other parents search for their missing child, young adult, adults, and people with disabilities. I search and looked what was out there on the market to assist when a emergency happens that you could have ready to hand over to law enforcement. Don't waste any of the first critical hours. I have put together identification kits that have everything you would need at your finger tips to help in the recovery of your love one. I hope you never have to use this kit but in the event you do, you know that you have insured that you have what you need. My daughter left two young children behind, we will find peace and comfort if this kit helps family members if one of their family member goes missing.
