🐾 Wellness Wednesday Tip 🐾
Winter weather can be tough on your skin—but did you know the same goes for your furry friends? Dry, itchy skin is a common issue during colder months, and it can lead to discomfort like excessive scratching, licking, and inflammation for pets. Here's how you can help soothe and protect your pet’s skin this season:
🛁 When bathing your pet, use an oatmeal- or aloe-based shampoo to calm and hydrate their skin. Look for gentle options to keep bath time soothing and beneficial.
💨 Add a humidifier to your home to prevent the heater from drying out the air too much. This keeps the environment more comfortable for everyone!
🐟 Consider omega-3 fatty acid supplements to promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. A stronger, healthier coat can better adapt to seasonal changes.
Remember, most dogs only need baths every month or two, and for cats, bathing requirements differ based on their grooming ability and coat type. Keeping your pet’s skin happy means a cozier winter for both of you! ❄️✨

Nicknamed "Curious George" for his adventurous spirit, Murray loves exploring the world around him. He’s been around children of all ages—from toddlers to teens—and hasn’t met a human he doesn’t adore. 💛 While he’s still mastering his leash skills, he’s eager to learn and listens well. 📣 Dog of the Day: Meet Miles! 🐾
Miles may start off as a shy guy, but once he feels at home, his playful energy and hilarious facial expressions will win you over! At just 40 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both cuddling on the couch and hitting the trails as your new hiking buddy.
This sweet boy loves to wrestle outside with his foster brother Motley and takes cozy naps after playtime. He is completely potty trained, crate trained, and walks like a pro on a leash! While Miles needs a little time to trust new people, the love and loyalty he shows once he does are unmatched.
Miles would be absolutely thrilled to be adopted alongside his best buddy Motley, but with time and the right introductions, he could also adjust to another doggy sibling—or even thrive as an only dog if he forms a strong bond with his humans.
