Happy Christmas eve eve!!! We want to wish all our friends and families both near and far a wonderful holiday season. We will be stepping away from social media until January 5, 2026 while we enjoy time with our dogs and family. Santa came and visited the Hazel Run pups last night. Gypsy was so proud to introduce him to her pups! Maverick, Goose, Emily, and Charlie all loved him. Even Ozzy got some Santa love!

For today's puppy enrichment we did another round of ENS, now that they are older I've modified the exercises a bit. Their ears are now open so today they enjoyed Mozart and Bach. You may be wondering about the "speed bump" this is a rolled blanket and I placed it right where momma likes to nurse. Creating a small barrier that the pups need to overcome helps teach them confidence from an early age.

It's been an exciting day for the Black Friday babies! Not only did they open their eyes and get the first taste of food but they also got new additions to the whelping box. These guys are only 15 days old but this is a crucial developmental period. Starting tomorrow we will introduce new sights, sounds, and textures each day. Tonight's new adventure is a Montessori type play mat. I love being able to use a little science and lots of love raising our babies. Stay tuned for more adventures from our Black Friday kiddos.

Maverick and Goose helped supervise cleaning up the kitchen tonight and I must admit they aren't the great helpers they think they are.! I've been so busy with our Black Friday babies that they haven't gotten much mom time so O took the opportunity to do a quick training session with them.
