CATIE is on a count down, she's looks like a cow when she walks. Geri has been measuring her belle and it grew 2 inch in one day. Due date November 29th.

We were trying to get a picture showing how big Catie is getting. 18 days to go, Mike better get his hunting in the next few days so he's ready for puppies.

MACK got a go for a ride all by himself with out the girls. So we let him run, I think he's ready for hunting season.

UPDATE: Here's what and when we are expecting. We are expecting a new litter November 29th. The puppies will be ready to meet their new families around January 10th. We are expecting/ hoping for a mix of liver and white and black and white colors. We are also expecting a more defined blaze going from nose to atop their heads. In this litter there should be some exceptional hunters as both mom and dad come from and are showing great hunting signs. Also, we expect the normal cuddling of the springer spaniel breed to go with their mid-size stature. Thanksgiving weekend start watching for pictures.

There seems to be a thing going on with dogs being stolen. Small towns seem to be the trend. Please report any strange behavior in your area and help to be on the lookout for such activity. Acquire dogs from legitimate breeders, animal shelters, or people you know. Have your vet scan for chips, vets should do this for new costumers anyway, but they don't always.

It's starting to look like Catie's first liter will arrive on October 8th ish. We will keep you posted. Plans are to be Mack and Catie's first together. Puppies should be finding new homes around Thanksgiving.

This is Mack. He is our new addition to Rosebud Springer Spaniels. We decided to work on a more defined Blaze in our breeding and also adding liver and white coloring. He also is an excellent athlete and hunter. He is showing all the signs of Greatness. We will also be farming him out to others for breeding. Catie will be coming into heat soon and if all things go as planned, we should have puppies ready to go in early December.
