When giving away your dog or puppies to a new home, it is crucial to ensure they are going to a safe and loving environment. Unfortunately, there are evil people that torture these innocent animals after obtaining them for free. To prevent such tragic outcomes, it is essential to check personal and vet references. Do a home check even if you can't if the person wanting your free pet is reluctant, that's a red flag.

Sometimes being an animal advocate isn't always cute. Instead at times it's disgusting and made me gag. But when your heart beats for the animals. You do what you gotta do. The amount of nastiness I got out of this poor baby's ears was awful. If you can't/ won't PROPERLY take care of your animals DON'T get them. There's more to being a pet parent than giving food and water.
