I need advice flock. Tonight while snuggling my baby, she took off flying. She does this from time to time but usually stays low and cruises down quickly. This time, she flew around the entire living room at ceiling height. (9ft) fortunately, she smacked the hallway wall and came down on carpet not hurting herself. I’ve realized her wings are completely grown back out from her baby clipping. I haven’t clipped them because I wanted her to have some normalcy. I’m torn. With her legs spread and her ability to catch herself on anything other than the ground worries me. I’m just so scared she will come down hard on her abdomen that is exposed due to her legs. Would you give her a light clipping to keep her lower to the ground, full clipping or no clipping at all? This isn’t a question about whether or not you are pro wing clipping or not. This is about what you personally think is best for gimpy with her special circumstances. This is why I’m asking you guys because you know her almost as good as I do.

Khaleesi update!!! She is doing wonderful with her new family. Went on a long road trip with them for the holidays. I’m so grateful they share updates. 🥰 Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

Should anyone want to contribute towards Gimpy’s vet bill, this is where we are. The current total is over $800 and will be an additional $800 if they need to do surgery. I’ll sell a kidney if I have to. You guys know there is no way I will let our girl go without care. If something will help give her a chance, I will do it. Thank you all for loving this little girl with me. 💙

Gimpy has laid her 2nd egg. Came home from Uber to find her sitting in her bowl of eggs and the new egg on the floor. 🤣
