I just wanted to give a shout out to the International Association of Professional Farriers and say thank you for the amazing opportunity to attend the International Hoof Care Summit in Cincinnati, OH this year. I received the Frank Gravlee Scholarship which provided me the opportunity to attend the summit for first time. I learned so much and met some great people! Can’t wait till next year!

I learned to shoe by apprenticing Loren Shumway out of Lehi, Ut. I have been out shoeing on my own as a part time business for 3 years now. My family and I just moved to Columbia, Missouri to start vet school in the fall; I’m excited to be here and now have openings to start serving the people of Columbia and surrounding areas.
