Finally got the theater set up for the residents in the rec room😺 they are slowly trickling in to see what the scuttle butt is all about 😂😻 mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation in senior cats, sometimes even more important, enjoy your evening and kiss those kitties🐈⬛🐈🤘
Sad day.. One of the feral mama babies had trouble breathing the other day and so we brought him to CVC in west Hartford where they did X-rays and found that he has a genetic defect of his esophagus. As he grew, the esophagus grew in a hook shape, making it hard for him to breath. We decided to end his suffering.
I had homes for all four but put adoption on hold. I want to keep an eye on the ones to make sure they grow healthy.
Poor baby boy. Rest in peace
These two😻Black cat is Midnight, tiger is Zelda, these two senior cuties were from the Pennsylvania feral community I rescued three years ago, it must've been love at first sight because these two guys are together constantly. Zelda got adopted out three years ago and then returned after two months, ferals dont think the same way a stray or tossed out cat does..These 2 were complete feral cats when I trapped them three years ago, socialization of feral cats and feral communities does not happen overnight, the best advice I have to people trapping Ferals is patience, in the end, the reward is greater than the initial trap, bite and infection, after all of that, you got yourself one HELL of a friend🐈⬛🐈😻
Sweet Millie had her follow up today at CVC, they all love her, they look forward to when she comes in because she is such a love bug she infects the entire staff😻 in about 4 short weeks once she is healed she will be going to protectors of animals who will find a forever home for her, but she wouldn't have never gotten to this point unless it was for Marla's community medical cat fund AT Connecticut veterinary center, once we can help Marla pay down Millie's bill we can move onto the next cat in emergency need, I know all of us rescues are continuously asking for donations but in reality that's only because we really need them, we rely on people out there that love to help out in an innocuous way, you don't have to be a rescue in order to SAVE cats, donations of any kind, I know everybody is tightly strapped in this economy but we speak for those who can't speak for themselves, saving them is our complete and total mission isn't it? winter is coming soon, help us help them 😻😺 donations can be made directly to Connecticut veterinary center in West Hartford, we pay one bill so that we can save another ,love you❤️ BUT love cats more😻😻😻😻😻😻
Millie is home AND hungry. Millie wouldn't be eating or well or treated if it wasn't for Marla's community cat medical fund sponsored by Connecticut veterinary center, Marla goes above and beyond to help raise money to get local rescue cats vetted in their worst hour, emergencies and when a rescue gets a cat in need but doesn't have the funds to get it vetted, let's please continue to fund this vital resource for all of our rescues. Donations could be made directly to Connecticut veterinary center in care of Marla's community cat fund when you call, 860-233-8564😻🐈🐈⬛🤘
