A lot of the dogs we see come through our rescue are lucky to be alive & Hamilton is one of those dogs. He was found curled up in the snow on the coldest day of the year in a hole he dug trying to keep from freezing to death. He was thin & covered in scars.
Hamilton was so grateful to be rescued. He is a kind, gentle, quiet soul who is just happy to have plenty of food & a warm, soft bed to sleep in. He is very sweet with people, he’s good with dogs & he’s even good with cats!

UPDATE: we still don’t have a foster!!! 😢

TODAY is a great day for a MIRACLE & Dobby boy needs one!
Dobby was taken to an emergency vet with a broken front leg by his owner. His owner left him to be examined & did not come back for him.
Poor Dobby ended up at the shelter & the shelter is packed & euthanizing. Guess which dog gets euthanized first ?? The pit bull with the broken leg.
Dobby is around 10 months old & weighs about 50 lbs. He loves other dogs! He ADORES people!!
Adopt a Pit wants to pull him but we NEED A FOSTER!!
We will provide food, crate & vetting!!!

If you’ve been following the stray dog running loose in Germantown she was hit by a car today crossing the road & had to be pulled out from under the tire. Thus far no owner has been located & she is injured so she has come to us.
Daisy Duke is very sweet but she’s in pain. She needs vet care. We have had ridiculously huge vet bills lately & we were not planning for this one. If anyone would like to help we would be so grateful!! Just one fluffy coffee ($5) from everyone who sees this post would make a huge difference!!
