Mama Sunny & her Cosmos babies are 1 week old and have ALL hit the 1 # mark! Some are 1 1/2 # already!

5 boys - Cygnus, Sirius, Vega, Solaris & Perseus
4 girls - Celeste, Aurora, Nova & Lyra

Solaris is the white one, he is the biggest weighing in at a pound and a half today - but not by much, lil chunk Nova in the pink collar is not far behind. Celeste in the lavendar collar & Lyra in yellow are the Itty bitties of the crew, just hit a pound today!
Vega, in the bright blue, loves me. He's the only one that doesn't scream bloody murder when I pick him up.

No eye balls yet but should be soon!

It's been about a week with our newest foster babe and we have learned so much about her already!
Her name is a Sunny, still a pup herself - we thunk about a year old - and her eggo is preggo! Not sure how many babes she's baking in there, but we should know in a week or two!
She loves belly rubs and behind the ea scratchies - kibble is great but patte is better - she loves to be outside and watch things blow in the wind - inside is also nice, especially on a lap, by the fire - her favorite things are cuddles and battling like adoreable little gladiators - excited to support her on this journey and can't wait to meet those little potatoes!

It's been 2 years with this magnificent mutt and we couldn't imagine life without our Ollie Man! My Pixar pup, little shadow man, the closer, he's the tip tapping, spin moving, smile guy!
Ollie also came to us through STS, he was one of our fosters and while it took him a couple if weeks to warm up to the humans, we knew very quickly that he wasn't going anywhere!
I wept as I typed up his adoption bio and sent it off to the coordinators...took me about 30 seconds to retract it and make him our first official "foster fail"

Gotchya weekend is in full swing and we have so much to celebrate! Let's holla at the big boombah, the gillie girl, the one who started it all!
Hard to believe that 4 years ago we were just adopting our household's first dog - we had just moved into our first home, no furniture, but we had a house so obvi, we need a dog - from the moment we saw her insta debut as Honey Bear, the "p**ping puppy", we knew we had to have her!
Since then, our lives have literally become all about the dogs - I genuinely don't know what life would look like without our big boombah...here's to another year of serious adventure Bubba!

As many know, Stop the Suffering Animal Rescue is special in our hearts. Their big annual fundraiser, Bid Your Bark Out, is coming up in a few weeks. Having family and friends support this fantastic group would mean a lot to us.
The event takes place in the stunning Field Club at the Crew Stadium on the evening of Saturday, October 19th. Last year was a blast, and we raised much-needed money for STS.
Guests will enjoy dinner, drinks, silent & live auctions, and a wine pull - all to raise money for Stop the Suffering. Ask me how you can donate to the event, too. Tickets are on sale now at www.stopthesuffering.org/bybo

First meet & greet at Common Paws was a super special one! Gillie got to see her brother Casey! Both Gillie & Casey were both lucky enough to be rescued with their mama by .ohio - these babes are four years old now and living their best lives! Can't wait to spend next week with Casey boy!

Meet your human hosts, Levi & Gracie Craddolph!

We are so excited to share our world with you and your pack - since we spend most of our time and energy showing off the dogs, we thought we would take a moment to introduce ourselves & share our story!

We are, Gracie & Levi, met in 2017 - by 2018 we were smitten and decided our forever homes were with each other, where ever that may be. In 2020 we moved into our first home in Columbus, OH & like many others, throughout the pandemic, had started imagining a different kind of life - something other than the 9-5 grind that didn't really bring us all that much joy. In August 2020, we adopted our first dog together, Gillie, FKA Honey Bear of the 2020 Bear Litter from Stop the Suffering Animal Rescue.

Bringing home this adorable, 9lb floppy pup was definitely the beginning of the end for us - we thought our dreams had come true - love, house, dog, made it...but wait, there's more!

In 2021 we started fostering with the same rescue we had adopted Gillie from. We were thinking about adding a second dog to the pack but really just wanted to help other paws in need while also helping Gillie make some friends! Well it worked. Over the last 3 years we have helped Gillie make many, many friends, we have fostered and helped over 30 dogs get adopted & added that second pack member - Ollie man was foster #10 and "foster fail" #1. Long story, slightly less long, is that we quickly realized, there is a huge gap in pet care services & we wanted to offer a solution.

We hear so many stories about dogs who can't go to traditional daycare or boarding facilities or even struggle with grooming salons - too many other dogs, required kenneling, reactivity or super anxious, etc. In 2022 Gracie went to grooming school, followed by Levi in 2023 - we love pampering the dogs in our home setting, this allows us to work one on one with each dog, at their pace - the home environment takes a lot of the stress out of the experience & you know that your dog is getting our full attention. We also found that we just love having a pack of dogs around all the time & have been offering a "home away from home" vibe for your daycare & boarding needs since 2020.

As of September 2024, we are so excited to move our home and offerings to Marysville, OH! Situated on 5 acres, just off Rt. 33, 20 minutes from the Dublin area, we can't wait to share our home with you!

While we love the Gillie Booms, Ollie was getting a little jelly - and with the move upon us, we thought we would take this opportunity to rebrand!

So here we are party people - just a couple of dog enthusiasts, ready to help you level up your furbabe's care! Common Paws is a space for all the paws! We cater to the rescue dogs, seniors, the super good boys who just get a little anxious at those big kennel places - we are for the little tinies that wanna be carried in a pup-poose all day and the grumpy old man who just wants his own bed to sprawl on and bark at the hooligans. We are for the maniacs that are just too much for other dogs, bring em, they sound like our type!
