These are some pictures of fleas under a microscope. Did you know a single flea can lay 40+ eggs a day? If left untreated fleas can cause anemia, flea allergies and even parasites! Fleas can also live 2 weeks without eating. The best way to prevent and treat fleas is with continuous use of flea prevention.

This handsome guy came to see us for his first puppy visit on Tuesday. His name is Lucky and he is a Akbash. These general Giants are from Turkey and are loyal family dogs with guarding instincts. Lucky was a sweet pup and we are happy his family chose to trust us to be his vet!

Did you know the salt you use for snow can be harmful to your furry friends? Rock salt cause dry, irritated paws. Licking their paws causes them to ingest the salt which can cause nausea, vomiting, excessive thirst and in the case of extreme ingestion worse symptoms can arise. Make sure to wash and dry your pets paws after being outside!
