Land of Gold's 💎Treasures are 5️⃣ weeks old!! LOTS of things to report for this week!

🐶Pups got moved from the whelping box into a big pen in our family room. With this comes many new exposures including a mop, new bigger litter boxes, new toys each day, water bottles, and exposure to Aunt Angel.😊
🐶Pups now eat mush 3X/day and are currently transitioning to soaked kibble! 🥩 Mama is almost done weaning.
🐶All are 5-7 lbs! ⚖️
🐶Teeth are in!
🐶Sounds this week have included TV (& video game sounds), clapping, vacuum, steamer, cow bell, & musical toys.
🐶Pups are doing AWESOME with litter box training!
🐶First vet visit! Vet commented that they are eating well lol! All the vet staff was in love! 😍 Pups go back in two weeks for immunizations.
🐶Began daily sponge baths
🐶Weekly nail trim
🐶Continuing the daily 10 step handling routine=SO important!
🐶Aug 16 = Go Home 🏡 It's coming quickly!!

Happy 5th birthday to our Princess Cirrus! 🥳 She quickly devoured her homemade cookies & dab of peanut butter! (Yes, she & Tundra really are only 2 days apart. 😊)

Our 💎Treasures are 4 weeks old!!
(Halfway to when they can go to their furever homes! Wow!) SO much has happened this week!

🐶They began eating mush!🍽 They love it! Over the next couple weeks we'll transition them in frequency & consistency until they are eventually just eating kibble. (Post coming soon about how we make it with video of pups eating!)
🐶All but three are 4+lbs! ⚖️
🐶Teeth are coming in!
🐶They have been exposed to objects including a blue drinking cup ☕️, rubber dog toy, pillow, and cereal box. Also a new location: feeding pen!
🐶Sounds this week have included whistling, clapping, rustling plastic bags, bird/cat/cow sounds, and Disney soundtrack music. 🎵
🐶Several are pottying on the litter boxes. It's just the beginning of potty training. Pups don't like to potty in their sleeping area and we are helping designate a spot.
🐶They are beginning to look like polar bears with their fur! So soft! 🐻‍❄

🐶They are wagging their tails and so excited to see us. Peridot, Sapphire, & Pyrite (separate times) even wanted to play with my daughters. It was adorable!

These Precious Treasures are 3 weeks old!!

🐶Walking on all fours
🐶Eating & growing like champs! 🍼 Four of them are 3lbs! Ruby & Jasper
are tied for Biggest 🏆and Sapphire ended up as Smallest! 🏆 It's a tight race though!
🐶Eyes are open and we've identified many that have open ears.
🐶Nails trimmed for the 3rd time
🐶Make squeaking, howling, & growling noises! They are finding their voices.
🐶Beginning to "play bite" with each other. It's adorable!!
🐶We are just beginning to see a little personality. Peridot seems curious and Morganite is playful!
🐶Had their first whelping box object today....an apple! 🍎 Some smelled or licked it 😋 while others didn't care.

Each one is so sweet! Can't wait to see more of their personalities as they grow!

So I sleep in the same room with the pups until they transition out of a whelping box into a pen area. I know my Angel girl misses me in my bedroom. This morning I laid down on our couch and she snuggled right up. ❤️

16 day old 💎Treasures

They are changing SO quickly!

🐶 Today they finished Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction (See the pic of the ESI box my daughter created! We love our kids being actively involved with the puppies!)
🐶We continue supplementing with a bottle as needed. Just like humans, puppies are individuals & some only prefer Mama's milk. 🍼
🐶We ❤️ that they can see us now! They all come close when we are in the whelping box. It is adorable to have 12 sweet faces nearby!🥰
🐶They continue to make all kinds of verbal sounds. Some are really funny & cute! I'll try to capture some more over the next few days.

These Sweet 💎Treasures are 2 WEEKS OLD!!

🐶 They are becoming quite mobile AND fast! (although they aren't steady on their feet yet) 🏃‍♂️
🐶Pups got nails trimmed today...all 216 of them!
🐶Biggest is Ruby at 2lbs 6.4oz. Smallest is Obsidian at 1lb 8.8oz. Peridot & Amethyst are in the middle of the pack.
🐶We are supplementing pups as needed 🍼
🐶Scent of the day is Chicken Feathers! 🐔 (Sapphire, Pyrite, & Obsidian did not like the smell. We'll have to chat with these 3 bird-dogs when they are older LOL.)
🐶They have such sweet lil' faces at this stage!

🐶ALL have their eyes open 👀! (Ears are still closed for now.)
🐶Pups are beginning to get up on all fours and walk!
🐶 We did have to begin supplementing. 🍼
🐶 Scent of the day is Nutmeg!

~These 💎Treasures are 12 days old~

🐶All but 4 have their eyes open 👀!
🐶Today we added litter boxes to their pen. This is just the beginning of potty training. Puppies don't like to potty where they sleep.
🐶Today's scent was soil.
🐶Pups are getting much quicker at moving around the pen.
🐶Biggest is Ruby and smallest is Obsidian.

~10 Days old~
Our 💎Treasures Litter is steadily growing and developing!
Ruby hit 2lbs today. Obsidian is now the peanut and his eyes 👀 are getting close to opening! (We are getting excited!!)Today's ESI scent was rabbit fur 🐇 which amazingly none of the pups had a strong opinion about. But these daily scents get their little noses working👃. They are such sweet puppies!

❤️~Day 8~❤️
Mama is certainly busy with these 12 Treasures💎! In these pictures our daughter is also helping with the pups. Some of them snuggled right up to her! Pups are becoming more active in crawling around. Ruby has now claimed the title "Biggest in the litter!" And the corners of their 👀eyes are looking darker too....won't be too long before they can see us!

Land of Gold's Treasures 💎 are 1 WEEK OLD TODAY!

They continue to grow each day and vocalize whenever Mama enters the box to feed. We continue to monitor their weight and behavior closely as they are still young & fragile. As normal, their eyes and ears are still closed. We clipped their TINY nails today for the first time. So far we haven't needed to supplement formula. Mama is doing great and each puppy is SO precious! ❤️

Day 5 - Most are up to 1lb now! They have also found their voices too, although their eyes & ears are still closed. Today's ESI scent was Ginger! Some liked it while some did not. lol
They sniff (& sometimes lick) us when we handle them or sit nearby. These 💍💎Treasures are SO sweet!
