Happily Ever After Horse Show was a great experience for Mac! We still have ALOT to learn about SLOWING down on the jump course, and our pulling matches often ended with a rail down, but his flat classes were SO much better!! No more giraffe-horse and no more trying to race the other horses! He is figuring this hunter/jumper stuff out! 😃

Put on our big boy pants and went to our second horse show this weekend! Started with a meltdown on Day 1 - this big show was very overwhelming for Mac, and I was worried we took him to a show this big too soon, but by the end of the weekend, after lots of walks around the grounds, lunging, and schooling rides he did very well! Even won a few blues! So proud of him 🥰

I had some anxiety this week after getting an email that the Makeover Horse Show is 90 days away… then I watched this video of THE FIRST TIME I sat on Mac… after months of good food, muscle conditioning, training and patience.. he really has come a long way!! Wow! 🤩
