I was finally sitting down for just a minute after bottling feeding here. I literally go all day and night and never get any sleep. I need a protege that can take over in the next few years. I’m pushing 70 years old and I’m feeling it. Why do I do this? My story begins 10 years ago. I went to the kill shelter just because and there was a litter of 6 baby kittens. They were going to be killed that day. I just couldn’t believe that kittens would be killed. I don’t know why they just wouldn’t give them to me but they wanted the $95 adoption fee. I was so broke but knew now that I had seen them I couldn’t let them die. I scrounged up every penny I had and went back and adopted all 6. $600. I was able to find homes for 5 and kept a ginger girl that I still have here. Her name is Paula Deen. That’s when I decided to get my non-profit. I have rescued several thousand cats and kittens from this one rural animal shelter. It is truly never ending. Rescues need support in order to pull these innocent cats and get them safe and vetted. "As I was looking on Facebook, I saw the ad for this dog. Phobic, brutally abused, eating wood and tied up in a yard. His man wanted him "wild" to scare the thieves!!... After the death of my dog that we were together for 17 years and while I had said I would not get another animal, today he came into my life. As soon as I put him in the car he sat on my son's lap and fell asleep. I took this picture to share and show how much all creatures need love.... How much did he need that hug?! From today on we are family... Let's go home! "

UPDATE. A foster has been found! Thank you❤️

I was just at the shelter , they have a nursing mom that came in with three babies.
She can’t stay there , she’s in a small kennel, she’s look like she is young herself. It’s too stressful for a mother and newborns in that loud environment.

I’m making this post to either find a foster for mom and babies , with a quiet room she can be in…Or, rescue help - if another 501C3 can pull them to safety.

They had to be removed from the cat room so she would nurse.

She’s in the isolation room and the kennel is very small.

I’m afraid they won’t make it there long.

Please share this is an emergency situation.
