I am so proud of Melissa Ripley and Baryn! They had a beautiful first ever run in Utility A yesterday and barely missed qualifying. Today they earned their first Utility Leg!!! 1st and nice score considering a no sit and a bad finish. 191.5! Way to go!!!! All the training has paid off even though not much training happened in the past month or so lol. What training happened must have been smart! Congratulations!!!!!

Blast from the past. Working an aged trail in Norwood, CO with Jeb. Went there for several amazing mantrailing seminars. The scenery was breathtaking. The instruction was top notch. remember these days?! 💕

I have throughly enjoyed training these pups. Wonderful temperaments. They are clones of the previous Mal. That is fascinating to me. I will miss them until I see them again end of September. Their owners are fabulous!!!

This is why I mostly refused to train service dogs for people. They only wanted a dog to go with them places. I just can’t support that. Very few people need a REAL service dog.

Ky has a new friend. He got to be a distraction for training. Then they got to play a little. He enjoys meeting, but just wants to do things with mom instead of playing.

This guy is a LOT of fun, but having lots of drive, needed a little direction with walking. He is a lucky dog living an awesome life! I loved getting to meet him and work with him.

This is what a modern wooly mammoth looks like lol. Koda is a young poodle/bernese mountain dog cross. He is a BIG boy and learning how to behave. He is a good boy! I also met Daisy(?) and she has the coolest markings. Love the whote tip of her tail.

I love when owners follow through! These two boys were over rambunctious and creating havoc in their homes. One was possibly looking for a new home. Now all is good. Both have improved leaps and bounds in just a few lessons. Makes me so happy!!! Super!

A beautiful day for training. Training alone is difficult for me at this point in my life. When I had my hounds it was so much easier (I was much younger with less on my plate - all I did other than work was train my dogs). Today was a joy and Ky was a rockstar. The weather and scenery were perfect.

Good competition training at a park. Garnet did well but wasn’t amused by posing on a rock. Kylo did well and found a small stick for reward.

Shadow is a wild child that had some issues with the young kids and visitors. Too excited and maybe too much freedom. He is a rock star responding beautifully to training. I love that there is also a cat lol. A trained dog is a happy dog!
