All American Quarter Horse Congress Queen Contest Young horsewomen from the USA & Canada compete to become the next First Lady of the AAQH Congress

Nearly a 50 year old tradition, the All American Quarter Horse Congress crowns an accomplished horsewoman each year to represent OQHA, AQHA and the horse industry as a whole. Rich in history, the Congress Queen has been crowned at the All American Quarter Horse Congress since the 2nd year in 1968. The Queen is the Official First Lady and spokeswoman of the Congress. In 2025, the eligible age range was voted to be changed to 19 - 26 years old as of January 1 from the previous age range 18-25 years old.

ONLY in 2025 as a transition period, we will honor the eligible age range as 18 to 26 years old as of January 1.

Starting in 2026, the candidate must be 19 to 26 years of age as of January 1.

About the Congress Queen Contest👑 Night 1️⃣ All of the girls attend the Queen Orientation and once we go over contest rules, itinerary, & questions, the girls get their sponsored gifts and get to share their personal gifts to give each other. This is a small token of friendship and the girls get to share the meaning behind their gifts and how it represents their association.
