I started my 13th year this year at Pampered Paws. I'm so thankful for all of my clients that have been loyal to me. I have developed a love, friendship and relationship with all of you and your family...watched your children grow up, driving, getting married and even having children of their own. I love each and every one of you and your sweet furbabies. I must say, that the only down fall of this business is when I get a call or text from a client letting me know they lost their furbaby. I'm at the point now, that my long term furbabies are passing away. I feel privileged that you trusted me and shared them with me. I do plan retirement in the next few years, but until then, I will continue to do the best job for you and your furbaby. Love MS Diane 💜

I require all of my clients to have their dogs fully vaccinated, but there are additional vaccines that are needed also. To my clients: we will be reviewing your pets records and if additional vaccines are needed you will be notified. Please read the letter below and take precautions to keep your dog safe. If they show any symptoms, please take every precaution listed to not only save your dog, but others.

Old Fashioned Goulash
Ingredients
1/2 lb macaroni
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion, diced garlic salt, pepper, chili powder, & hot sauce to taste
2 (14.5 oz) cans whole stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 tablespoons ketchup
Tomato juice as needed
Directions
Cook the macaroni to al dente according to package directions. While it’s cooking, brown the ground beef and onion together in an extra-large skillet or in a dutch oven.
Drain and season with spices to taste. In a large bowl, mash tomatoes with potato masher and add to beef along with the ketchup. Drain macaroni and add to the beef mixture, stirring well. Taste and add additional seasoning as needed.
I didn’t need to add any tomato juice to mine, but if you like yours very juicy you can add as much tomato juice as you like. Phyllis adds it to her leftovers, which I would also recommend, because the noodles tend to soak up all the juice with time.

We are NOT closing! I shared a post for a friend of mine that was retiring from pet sitting and the post looked like I was closing. At this time, I'm no longer accepting new grooming clients, but I'm accepting new boarding clients (small to medium size dogs only). Sorry for the confusion🥰

In 2021, we experienced the loss of many precious furbabies that we had the privilege to groom or board for several years. We will miss each one of them dearly as well as their families. There is a special bond and friendship that is formed and is never forgotten. As hard as it may be, we must move forward and hold the memories that were made and thank God that we were blessed with them. Thank you to all my clients for sharing and trusting us with your babies. Merry Christmas and praying that you have a prosperous 2022❤

I recently found out that another one of my "first" passed away. Charlie's family moved away and I haven't groomed him in a few years. He had the first beard/goatee that I maintained...which was so fun and looked so good on him. Please keep Charlie's family in your prayers...thanks for sharing him with me💙

I'm asking for prayers today for a special family that is dear to me as they prepare to say bye to their sweet Maggie. Maggie is a very special baby to me. When I started 11 years ago she was my practice cut, the best dog. I've cut her on a monthly basis for the last 11 years so I will miss her dearly. Love you Maggie girl💔🙏

The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very hard and painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Please be patient with me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well being.
4. Do not be angry with me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you!
6. Talk to me, even if I do not understand your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me. You only have to look at my tail!
7. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it!
8. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you. (DON'T HIT YOUR DOG!)
9. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am in pain or sick, or my heart might be getting weak and I cannot tell you.
10 Take care of me when I get old, you too will grow old someday.
Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch it” or, “let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there.
