A piece of my heart got ripped out of my chest today. My Chloe decided to go to the rainbow 🌈 bridge in her sleep. She was 12years and 10 months old. Fly high sweet girl. Save my spot up there with your brothers and sisters I'll see you when my time comes.

I wanted to come on here and let everyone know that Winston isn't doing very well. About a month ago or so he started limping on his back left leg. We took him to the vet to get checked out thinking it was arthritis and we were going to get meds and everything would be OK. Well the vet took x-rays and they showed that he has arthritis in his knees and lesions on his spine. He Started dragging his backend a few weeks ago so we took him back to the vet. The vet said that we can try some pain meds and if they help him great and if not the we need to have "the talk."

I would like to introduce to you Gigi kitty. This little girl was walking down the road in front of my house. Her face was covered in goo, her eyes were matted shut and she was skin and bones she was dehydrated also. When I took her in and gave her a bath I cleaned her face with a warm wash cloth and when I went to wipe her eyes big globs of puss came out then she was finally able to open her eyes. The first picture is right after her bath the second one is how she looks now. She is feisty and has the fight to live.

Today has been a lazy day around here. I decided to take me a nap and woke up to Bowinkle and his sister Winter snuggling together. Isn't that the cutest?!

All my nurses... I fell about a week ago and hurt my ankle and foot that I had surgery on 2 years ago. Went to the ER and they put me back in a boot. Well it got a little cold here last night and today and my foot is killing me. So I've been laying under a blanket all day trying to keep it warm so it won't hurt as much.

Bowinkle LOVES his big orange ball (watch until the he tumbles over the ball while chasing it lol!) Winston thinks he's crazy and Grumpy just want to play with the kittens lol. That our life around here.

Please say a prayer for Bowinkle. He quit eating Tuesday and hasn't been himself. He will be sitting, sleeping or just standing there then all of a sudden jump and run. He is a lot more clingy than usual and wants me to hold him all the time. He's even started sleeping in the bed with us and he usually doesn't care for that because we keep our room COLD.

Yesterday I took him to the vet and told him we need a nose to toe check up to change the oil and rotate the tires. He checked him over and said that he has hurt what is equivalent to our tail bone, plus he has an inverted tail. So the remedy is to change his break lights 😆
The vet said that he either got rear ended or got smacked with a big paw which makes sense because his best friend is a pit bull. They like to zoom through the house and slide across the laminate flooring in the kitchen and Grumpy could have slid into him. They also play very rough Bowinkle will grab Grumpy by his neck skin and hang on and Grumpy paws at him to let go. So we can't rough house or slide on the floor for a couple weeks and he needs LED break lights installed 😂
We have meds to help him feel better if he is not back to normal in a couple weeks he goes back for a full body x-ray. I was so worried it was IVDD because he runs and jumps up on/ off furniture.

Hello Friends Winston here,

How are y'all doing? Sorry we have been missing in action. Things have been crazy here lately. But I have some great news mom is finally CANCER FREE!!!! She still has to have some surgeries and procedures done but she feels good and is doing great! She has started to foster kittens. She takes in kittens that need to be bottle fed. That's how I got my new baby brother. The 3 musketeers ( Grumpy, Bowinkle, Winter) found my brother Onyx out on the backside of our property and his mommy wasn't around. Bowinkle picked him up by his ear and carried him to mom. She took him back where they found him and kept an idea on him. His mommy never came back for him so she brought him in and bottle fed him. Since then she has taken in 3 more babies. Their mommy got hurt and died. But mom is taking care of them and going to find them good homes. Well I got to go it's dinner time and I'm hungry.

So sorry I haven't been posting lately. After Biscuit passed away I ended up having multiple surgeries. I have more multiple surgeries I have to have. Winter here is my nurse and doing a good job making sure I rest.

I got a sign from Biscuit this morning. We have lived in this house for 12 years and never seen a hummingbird. Well this morning while I was standing on the porch waiting on the dogs to go potty a hummingbird flew up to me and was zipping around in front of my face probably about 2 feet from me. Then it landed in the tree in front of the porch and watched me until the dogs started coming back up onto the porch then it flew away. I just know that was Biscuit! She would always get in my face and pounce around and be bossy.

My heart has been torn from my chest today. Biscuit had to be helped over the bridge. The vet thinks that she had fluid on her brain and it was causing swelling and that is why she was getting very aggressive. I was prepared to say good bye when I made the decision to let her go to someone else but I was not prepared to say good bye helping her cross the bridge. She's my baby and I was just trying to do what I felt was the best for her. This picture is the last picture I took of her the other day going on a ride to the park to go for a walk on a pretty spring day.

It breaks my heart to have to do this. But I'm thinking I have to re-home Biscuit. She needs to be in a home where she is the only dog and preferably with someone who works from home or is retired that can change her diaper every 4 to 6 hours. She is getting very aggressive with my other dogs and with my health I don't have the strength to separate them when they get to fighting. I have been keeping her separate from the others but that makes her spending a lot of time in her crate and that's not fair to her. She is a diaper baby and will come with all her supplies that I have for her. I don't need negative comments. I'm torn up about having to make this decision. 😢 I want her to go to a home where she will stay and they will be willing to possibly keep in touch with me on how she is doing. She is not a bad dog she is very loving and loves to give kisses she just doesn't like to share her humans. Message me if you are interested or want more details about her.

Bowinkle snuggling to keep warm. Not supposed to be on my chest (I had surgery) but when my baby wants to snuggle he gets snuggles. The rest are playing to keep warm.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've had a bilateral mastectomy. I'm 4 weeks out and feeling good so figured I would take pictures of all the pups and post pictures for everyone to see. They are all doing well and being very good nurses.

It's a good thing my tv is mounted on the wall. Winston watches tv and when he sees a animal he goes crazy and starts barking at it. Sometimes jumps up on the cabinet under the tv. He really doesn't like this commercial and the ones with the owls lol.
