We had a blast seeing the costumes everyone imagined up this weekend!

In order we had Shrek and Fiona aboard the dragon and donkey (who took their roles very seriously and canoodled the whole party)

A giraffe riding a unicorn (duh)

The cutest Harry Potter riding his witchy horse and witch classmate leader

Dr. Horrible and Bad Horse (who rules with an iron hoof)

Our sweet boy Darius as Ferdinand the Bull with Caroline

And Katie on Zeke who was wrapped up as a mummy and did his best to keep his wraps on 😂

(And honorable mention to Viv who stuck around dressed as a regular old person 👎)

We just couldn’t stay away and had to make a trip back to our favorite horse show. Old Salem always sets the standard and our riders rose to the occasion!

Calais secured champion in her equitation division with Sky High’s Rivière with consistently accurate courses and moved up to first in the flat.

Maeve improved with every step into the ring with Dutchess and managed to secure a first place slot in her last eq over fences.

Magdelena and Cloudy put the work in and rode their way to the top spot in one of their over fences classes!

Vivienne and SYL Century rode competitively in the Low Junior jumpers and navigated their first 1.25m classic round to an impressive 11th place finish out of a large and very competitive class.

NBF was very happy to culminate the summer season at Fieldstone Show Park. All of our riders hit new heights with their horses and proved hard work pays off.

Zoe did her schooling in the jumper ring and ended her week being only 1.5 points shy of the top 12 in the MHJ final. Very close for her first eq final ever!

Magdelena moved up to verticals and jumped to a fourth place win in the classic out of a ton of short stirrup riders!

Avalon got to put her horse through their first course at a horse show. While we left with things to work on, we are very proud of how quickly this duo is learning together!

Continuing to recap this summer, NBF had an awesome time at the new and improved HITS on the Hudson 😍 We enjoyed our annual dinner at diamond mills with some girls at their first horse show. And while most of our riders were just getting to know their horses, Calais Mack was hitting her stride and cleaning up the meter jumpers with Cormorant 🚀

We already can’t wait to be back!

Time for our end of summer recap!! (Part 1)

What a way to end off the summer. In Vermont all of our riders moved up to new heights and dominated!

Vivienne Dutot and SYL Century moved up to the 1.20 and stayed at the top of their division, taking home some blue ribbons!

Zoe Brown and Sky High’s Riviere moved up in the .90 and ended their week with a strong ride in the 2’9” equitation for the first time.

Maeve Hatfield and Dutchess did a sprinkle of hunters and equitation at 2’6” and then ended their second week with a classic win in the .75 jumpers.

And the biggest thank you to our grooms who gave 100% every single day and had our horses turned out expertly!

Vivienne as reserve champion in the 1.10 child jumpers, Barrett and DJ at third in their 1.10 classic, Calais for multiple wins in her 1.0m division, and Maeve in second place in the 2’ hunters out of 34 riders 😱

Today marks the end of an era and a short but successful pony career. After an exciting large pony year and hard work to get to pony finals, Calais and Goose’s partnership is over with a great last effort in the handy at WEF. ISO Barn Manager

North Bridge Farm is a full service hunter/jumper show barn, located on a beautiful private farm in Concord, MA. Housing available on site. Competitive pay, PTO. This is a 5.5-6 day a week position. Typical hours are 9am-5/6pm though exact schedule subject to seasonal needs.

North Bridge Farm is looking for a mature and organized individual who is a self starter and a team player. Prior industry experience is required. This individual will be responsible for working with the owner and other employees to oversee the facilities, horse care, scheduling, ordering supplies (hay, grain, shavings, etc.) and scheduling services (manure removal, etc.).

Job duties include but not limited to: overseeing horse care and barn organization, helping to maintain schedule, helping grooms with stall cleaning/turn out, making grain, clipping, wrapping, giving meds, preparing for shows, communicating with clients and vendors, etc. Shared night check responsibilities with other staff members.

Ability to ride and help teach lessons is a plus but not required.
