Available for immediate adoption.
Trixie DOB 06/24/22 , so currently 20months old.
Unfortunately she no longer fits in our kennel line up.
She a very active girl looking for a home where she can live in the house with her family full time. This is a must and I’ll only consider placing her with this condition.
She is crate trained and kennel trained. Full disclosure here she is a ‘spinner’. I myself have had dogs all my life and had no idea what this is. She spins, and I mean spins fast. Both while in her crate and in her big 10’ x20’. She is NOT destructive. She does not chew on the crate or the kennel. Her teeth are perfect and she has never injured herself. I’d call it anticipation spinning. If she sees you coming she’ll start. With the rotation schedule here it’s impossible for her to be in the house with us 24/7.
She needs a better life. Oddly, she never spins in the crate in the car or while traveling so that’s good.
She is good on a leash and enjoys going town and meeting people. Great recall.
She is good in the house and turns into quiet dog so happy to be in the house.
Adoption fee is cost of spaying.

Fantastic and huge news from Florida that on Saturday in Orlando at the 2023 Royal Canin AKC National Championships, Keebo owned by Noel Ralat, shown by Billie Greene and bred by Deanna Donohue at Double D’s GWP’s won Best of Breed!!
Keebo is a son of our Dash - GCH CH D’s Reece Lovin The Bigsky At Timberlake JH x BeBe - MRBIS NBISS GCHS CH Highfield Heywire Reece Best Of The Best At DD's JH.
We’re thrilled for all involved and the journey that these dogs take us on.

We had some complications with our latest litter. On November 6th Banner went into labor early and while she was a trooper and delivered without trouble sadly many of the puppies were not viable and did not survive.
We have 4 beautiful boys! that will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Banner is a great mother and doing an awesome job with her first puppies. They are healthy and very plump since mom is only feeding 4, they are little piggies.
3 solid liver and 1 liver and white.
2 are available as my deposit list was mostly folks wanting girls.

Banner had her pre delivery vet check today and she got a very good report.
98.5 lbs with a week to go yet!!
10 + puppies.
Poor girl, she’s so big.

This litter of GWP’s is between my girl Gallatin’s Big Sky Banner ( GCH CH Double D’s Reece Lovin The Bigsky At Timberlake JH x DJBAR Montana Timberlake’s One Spot Dot) & Gino Vom Eichsfeld (German Import) owned by Dr. Trevor Ferguson.
Very excited to get this litter on the ground by talented water loving retrieving dogs.
Health tested. Banner, OFA good hips and normal elbows. Gino, Penn Hip results very good numbers available on request.
Deposit contracts are going out tomorrow.

They completed a double double hunt test recently here in Montana and now Gallatin’s Rye has earned his AKC JH title.

I needed to find a winter activity to keep the dogs busy so we’re starting dog sledding! What a blast and the dogs think it’s fantastic to run full out.
Lots of learning ahead because you just don’t know how train them overnight.

Update
Handyman has found a terrific new home and has a new name too. Now Jaeger.

Looking for the right forever home for great young boy named Handy.
Handy is 5 1/2 months old and a complete joy to have around. Great disposition,playful, quiet in the house. Crate trained and no bad habits. Sleeps well in his crate. He is more middle of the road drive wise and would be a good fit for a pet home that occasionally hunts.
He is a good sized boy and should be about 75 pounds full grown. Gorgeous coat and conformation but sadly his bite is not perfect so he will be sold only with limited registration and a neuter contract.

This litter from Dash x Slick has produced very nice puppies with loads of instinct. This girl uses her nose and runs with her nose down tracking all the way. She’s a big girl, very dark liver and beautifully marked with a heavy coat.
Has been shown a few pigeons and has done drags.

Dash x Slick DOB 6/24/22.
Trixie is one of two female pups available now. She’s 12 weeks old and ready to move into your heart and home. Nice amount of drive and ability and never misses a chance to steal a wing.
She going to be a good size girl and I expect she’ll be 70 pounds when fully grown.

Dash is our very talented sire that has a couple of field trial points in addition to his Grand Championship AKC title. Dash is producing very nice well rounded dogs that are doing very well in the field and in the ring. He’s an awesome water retriever and hunts ducks and geese.
Slick is pure hunting dog and true to the GWP label ‘fur and feather’ as she has dispatched foxes and raccoons in addition to her upland bird skills.

These dogs have a very nice pedigree and are raised right. OFA health tested parents.
First vaccinations, multiple dewormings and health certificates.
