We rode the trail out of the equestrian campground in Conover. Trail was an awesome shape. There were very few bugs. No black flies and only a couple of areas where the deer flies were moderate. Book your campsite now and ride over 30 miles of equestrian trails

The new sign is up for the River Road, equestrian campground in Conover Wisconsin. Much easier to see. The fire number has been cleared of shrubs and brush so it’s easier to find the entrance to the campground.

The sign to enter River Road, equestrian campground, Conover, Wisconsin is taken down and being refinished. If you are going to the campground, the fire number is 5056. GPS has been known to take you past the campground and tries to turn you on the railroad grade. If you get to the railroad grade, do not turn down there, back up .

Enjoy a stay at River Road equestrian campground Conover, Wisconsin. We have 30 miles of trails. The campground has corrals and highlines. There’s a new well with excellent water and you don’t have to pump it. Pack a picnic lunch and ride up to Ski Hill Trail and enjoy a picnic on the new tables that we have there. There is even a hitching post at the trailhead of Ski Hill Trail to tie your horses while you enjoy your picnic.

Group fun rides scheduled for this summer. Rides are for anyone that likes to ride in a group and you don’t have to be a member of the club to ride. There is no fee to ride. First ride Sunday, June 22 at 10 o’clock on Pioneer Creek trails. Meet at the Conover town park. Ride number two July 20 at ski Hill Trail. We should have the new signs up and two new picnic tables at ski Hill trail. Third ride will be Sunday, August 17 10 o’clock at River Road equestrian campground riding Torch Lake trails. Save the dates. Let’s put these awesome trails to good use and have fun riding together!
