Please spread the word for this lost dog. Buddy was LOST on November 29, 2025 in Conroe, TX 77301 near Beach Airport rd, shady woods market, cartwright Rd.

Message from Owner: If anyone has seen my black/brindle colored lab/pit mix, please DM me. He escaped last night sometime before the storm. One of my daughters forgot to close the gate earlier in the day and not knowing, I let him out back in the yard at 9pm. An hour later I noticed he was gone. He goes by the name Buddy. He’s a friendly boy but will run away if you try to run after him. I fear he may have gotten far because he loves to mark anything and everything in sight. Please email me at [email protected].

🐾 Bella Still Needs Her Forever Home

Hi again… it’s me, Bella 👋💛

I’m still at the kennel, still waiting, and still hoping that my person is out there somewhere. I don’t have an update yet — just a big heart that’s ready for a family to love.

I’m friendly, smart, and eager to learn. I get along well with other dogs, and I adore people. I’ve been in the kennel for a while now, but I’m trying my best to stay positive.

With Thanksgiving here, I can’t help dreaming about a home of my own — a warm spot on the floor, a gentle hand on my head, and someone who wants me to stay forever. 🧡

🐾 Gunner Update!

We wanted to share a little update on our sweet friend Gunner — the pup we’ve been trying to help find his forever home.

💛 The good news:
Gunner is no longer in the kennel — he’s currently staying with a wonderful foster family who is giving him love, safety, and a soft place to rest.

🏡 But he is STILL searching for his forever home.
He’s 6 years young, gentle, affectionate, and so eager to bond with someone who will give him the stable, loving life he deserves.

Gunner loves:
✔️ Fetch
✔️ Belly rubs
✔️ Being told he’s a good boy
✔️ Just being near his people

He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his fresh start — he just needs the right family to say “yes.”

With the holidays here, we would love to see him spend them in a true forever home.

FYI-Pet Food Distribution This Sunday!

A drive-thru pet food distribution event is taking place this Sunday, November 23rd from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Montgomery County Animal Services (8535 TX-242, Conroe, TX 77385), while supplies last.

This opportunity is open to any Montgomery County resident who needs a little help keeping their pets fed.

This effort is made possible through the collaboration of the Montgomery County Spay/Neuter Alliance, Lone Star Animal Welfare League, Active Paws Rescue, Operation Pets Alive, Texas Animal Society, Bruce Kapp Memorial Animal Fund, Houston Chow Chow Connection, Happy Tails of Mcas-TX, and Montgomery County Animal Services.

Drive-Thru Instructions:

This is a drive-thru style setup, and we ask that all guests remain in their vehicles. Supplies are first come, first served, and some items may be limited per household so we can support as many families as possible. If demand exceeds supply, the line may be cut off early.

Bringing your pets?
You’re welcome to bring them. Please keep them safely restrained and inside your vehicle.
