Piper is such a fantastic mama! She’s done such a fantastic job looking after all the pups and is so careful when she goes to nurse not step or lay on anyone. She is aware of each puppies position and so careful and gentle.
I anticipate similar traits in our pups as they grow to be gentle and sweet like mama. 💕

Piper delivered 11 puppies! Unfortunately 2 were not able to make it, but we are grateful for her safety and the 9 healthy puppies that are still with us! Pictures coming soon!

Update:
So sadly I have some sad news.. (though I promise there is a happy ending) Miss Maple has not been adjusting well to our most recent move from a spacious house and yard with all her dog friends to being by her self in a one bed 1 bath apartment. She was rehomed this morning to a very sweet lady who own 10 acres and plenty of new friends to be with. 💕 she also has a big family that maple can get so many more pets and lovings from. This was an extremely hard deduction to make considering our long sought goals to breed maple and continue to bless people with the joy that Golden’s bring. After a few days I will no longer be posting to the Golden Keys Kennels Instagram or Facebook but will leave the page up. We have been so grateful for the time we had with all of our Golden’s and someday when we are in a more stable place we will certainly start back up but for now we bid maple and all of GKKs followers a (hopefully short) farewell. 🐶💕
