WE ALL AGREE WITH NO MORE UNWANTED LITTERS. We should consider newer, safer alternatives than a traditional gonadectomies to prevent long-term health concerns.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA)🏥 has just announced their new spay & neuter guidelines.🙀 Due to growing evidence of adverse health effects of traditional gonadectomy (spay/neuter) and increases in cancers and joint disorders, WSAVA suggest the best practice for RESPONSIBLE pet parents is to leave dogs and cats unaltered (intact). Additionally noting, spaying or neutering a dog younger than 6 months of age is NOT recommended because of an increase of detrimental health risks. Acknowledging in some circumstances, such as rescues and shelters, where leaving an animal intact is not an option, they stress the importance of education and acceptance of newer, alternative sterilization techniques that have less long-term health concerns. 🙌

CBD Dog Health I am consistently surprised with this company’s products! From allergies and arthritis to my Chili mama. She started coughing after whelping her 3 pups all through the night last night. This is very unusual for her. After diagnostics were normal (postpartum), I opened up a bottle of Breathe and gave her a dropper. Since that single dose, no more coughing! Such a relief to have a natural way to resolve her cough. Antibiotics would have destroyed not only her gut microbiome, but the pups. It would have set them up for a lifetime of immune issues! 2 females and 1 male. We are very blessed 😇

STUDY REVEALS THE PRICE OF A GORGEOUS GREEN CHEMICALLY TREATED LAWN🏡 IS A 70% UPTICK IN THE RATE OF CANINE CANCER🔥🐾

HIGH CARB DIETS FUEL INFLAMMATION AND DENTAL CARIES IN DOGS....
Multiple studies show dry food is more inflammatory than raw dog food, but why? Is it the poor quality fats, chemical preservatives, mycotoxins, AGEs or because it's high in cheap, ultra processed, rapidly digested carbohydrate filler?

Emily Stein, PhD, did a piece recently for popular vet magazine Vet360, entitled "The importance of the oral microbiome in promoting and maintaining dental health" .

She says:

"The fastest way to cause inflammation is to start feeding the microbiome with sugars and carbohydrates. These dietary ingredients feed pathogens directly or indirectly, which then grow out of control and persistently activate the immune system."

This isn't surprising. Google "high carbohydrate diets inflammation" you'll quickly get the picture.

Interesting (though I wonder how many vets thought so too).

And she goes on:

"In our studies, we see significant levels of Porphyromonas species, Tannerella forsythia, and other pathogens associated with dental disease in dogs that eat foods with rice, corn, potato, sweet potato, and other fillers."

Fillers! Imagine!!

The oral pathogens really piqued my interest though. Another quick Google reveals high carb diets are strongly linked to dental caries as the bad bacteria love 'em.

One of the reasons why 80% of dry and canned fed dogs have dental disease by 3yrs of age I guess. Lack of abrasion being the other.

Even 3,500 years ago, people knew the value of our pet’s unconditional love ❤️. This is pretty cool! I doubt this pup was fed a commercial dry kibble. Real food, minimally processed is best!

Found mummified with his necklace, a bowl of water and his own perfume bottle.

This mummy of a dog was found inside tomb KV50, known as the Tomb of the Animals, in the Valley of the Kings.

It is believed to be one of the pets of Pharaoh Amenhotep II, who ruled Ancient Egypt between 1427 and 1401 BC, due to the proximity of this tomb to that of the pharaoh.

Congrats on 3 weeks Chili Mamas new litter of pups! 3 females and 1 male. Blessing, Angel, Faith and Jesus are doing great. They are now transitioning to VIVA puppy mix and milk. My daughter even gave Blessing for her first horse back ride. Naturally reared, raw fed healthy pups!
