Well Miya was adopted this week by a good friend of mine and a great person. She lost both her shepherds this week. They are in a better place. Thank you Stacia Bevington for giving Miya a very good home.

Ok people, here at Purgatory Pet Refuge we have more than a few pups that need forever homes. I love them all. They are all great dogs. I’m going to tell a little about each one. I need as many people to share as possible lol. We are now a nonprofit and run on monetary donations. We have a lot of animals here and could use help covering cost of feeding. Go through a lot of dog food lol. You can donate at spot.fund/purgatoryPetRefuge

First we have Moose. He is a 1 year old ball of in your face energy lol. He’s a golden retriever. He’s very smart. He listens well. He loves to play. All up to date on shots and neutered.
Next we have Nuke. This is one off my favorites. He’s a 1 year old mix. He’s all black with a buff of white on his chest. Black and white feet. Not sure but I think some Great Dayne in him. He’s tall and lengthy. Super sweet. Very loyal. Right now I’m his person and he gets a little jealous so I really want to find him a home. All up to date on shots and neutered.
Next we have Miya. She is a America Pit Terrier. She is almost 2. She is fixed and up to date on shots. She is such a sweetheart. Loves to cuddle. Everyone loves her but no one has taken her home yet.
Next there is we have Daisy. She is a one year old pit lab mix. She’s a little under weight. We are working on that. Up to date on shots but she is not fixed yet. Working on that as well. She is a puppy but she doesn’t act like it. She acts older. Very mature dog. Listens so well. On leash great but don’t need it. She just a great all around dog. She is all black.
Next we have we have two chihuahuas each mixed with something else. Both males. They were neglected and just didn’t have time for them. Well they are both amazing little dogs. They both have my heart. They are not up to date on shots yet. And they are intact. They are 6-8 months old. They are so special. You will fall in love with them right away lol. The brown one is Titan and the whiter one is Tito.
We also have a special needs dog if someone is interested. I would really like to find her a home. The other dogs no that she is weaker so they pick her. A friend saved her from being euthanized and then dropped her off here lol. She needs her person. I was told she had a spinal stroke and when I got her she couldn’t use her rear legs very well. Now she runs around great on three legs. The fourth has not come back yet. Looking for someone with the time and compassion to take her in. She is a 3-4 year old blue heeler.

Please contact me with any questions. We need to find homes. There are so many more out there that need help. If you know any one looking tell them to please consider a rescue dog or a shelter dog. They need your love.

The tag on the collar says her name is Bernie but that’s an extra tag. Her name is Belle. She is very skittish specially towards men. We are in the Purgatory area. My little niece in the back is 16 today. Life is so short. Don’t waste it. Live everyday like it is a blessing because it is.

This is not me. I just found this and agree.

I refrain from taking him to the beach for a walk because it disrupts your vacation; you prohibit me from renting a house if I have a dog, and he's not allowed on urban public transport. Nevertheless, I can bring him to sift through rubble after an earthquake, search for you in the forest when you're lost in the mountains without a map or GPS, join you under the snow for forbidden off-piste adventures, and even accompany you in the water despite the red flag when posted signs advise against swimming. You gladly welcome him when you need his support, but not when it's inconvenient for you. After all….” it is just a dog”….
Think again, people. Dogs are better than most humans, they’re kinder, more loyal, love unconditionally and appreciate you no matter whether you deserve it or not. ❤️

So today Purgatory Pet Refuge made it a little better for our furry friends. Trump got an upgrade and the horses got more space to run. Thanks to the Loomis family for donating fence. And a big big thanks to Stavia Bevington. She bought a lot of fencing supplies and got out and helped get it all put up today. Thank you so very much. Angels among us.

Haha this is Nuke. He’s 9 months old. Goes in January 3rd to get neutered. He’s such a great puppy. He’s very tall. I’m working with him on his manners. He’s a happy energetic cool fellow. He’s got big floppy ears lol. And hes a klutz lol. Hes jet black with a little gray and white on his chest and front paws. He’ll make someone a great buddy. He’ll be up for adoption after January 10th.

Hey all you Boxer lovers. here is a sweet lovable Boxer. She is fixed and up to date on her shots. She is good with everyone and little kids and listens very well but she is not good with other animals. She needs a forever home cuz if she goes back to the shelter they will euthanize her. Hey everyone looking for a shepherd we have one for you. Her name is Daisy. She is a Czech Shepherd. She is 2-3 years old and is spade. She is a beautiful shepherd. She is good with kids that are old enough how to treat a dog. She is a work in progress with other dogs. Not good with cats. But she is so very smart. And would make a great guard dog.
