UPDATE: SAFE WITH OWNER!

Dakota is a female, microchipped, red Shiba Inu. She was last seen on her property 01/07/2025 around 4:30pm. Dakota went missing from West Bergamo Rd, Eidelweiss, Madison, NH. She is wearing a collar with identification tags attached. Dakota went missing with a 25ft cable long line attached to her collar. 🐾 Meet Our Remarkable Tripod Shepherd! 🐾

This stunning 6-year-old German Shepherd mix may have three legs, but that doesn’t slow him down! He’s a loving, loyal companion who’s ready to find his forever home.

He thrived in a foster home with a small dog and a cat and adores children, making him a fantastic addition to a family. As a recent tripod, he enjoys 20-minute walks and is always eager for multiple outings each day to explore and enjoy the fresh air.

Crate trained and leash trained, he’s a joy to have at home and on adventures. While he’s making great progress, he’s still working on feeling comfortable around bikes and meeting some dogs on leash. With patience and positive reinforcement, he’s improving beautifully!

Please save-the-date for the "Be a Humane Hero" event, where we will come together to celebrate heroes in our community who have made a difference in the lives of animals and people this past year. There will be a cocktail hour and dinner followed by a live auction and presentation of this year's Humane Hero of the Year Award. There will also be virtual auction for a week leading up to the event. Your participation will allow us to continue to save animal's lives in our community. We are excited to honor the inspiring individuals who make a lasting impact through their compassion, dedication, and selfless acts of kindness.

🐹 Meet Brycen & McCarthy! 🐹

These two adorable guinea pig best friends are a bonded pair, and they’re looking for a loving forever home where they can stay together!

Brycen is the outgoing one of the duo, always ready for snack time—especially when veggies are involved! While he’s okay with being held, he feels safest with all four paws on the ground.

McCarthy is a little shyer but warms up quickly with patience and kindness. Like his buddy Brycen, he prefers staying on solid ground and loves a good veggie treat.

Together, they’d make the perfect addition to a family that can offer them love, gentle care, space to explore, and plenty of yummy snacks.

Our adoptable dog, Gracie, would like everyone to know that our February raffle is LIVE!

Join a sunrise yoga class tomorrow morning in honor of the winter solstice at Dragonfly Yoga Barn. You can attend this class in person at 280 Bennett St in North Sandwich, NH, or online. Class begins at 6 am until 7:15 am followed by a potluck breakfast. The minimum donation for this class is $20. All proceeds will be donated to the Conway Area Humane Society. 🐾MIDAS Animal Spotlight: Meet YONDU!🐾

This three-legged wonder is ready to hop right into your heart and home! Yondu [yawn-doo] traveled all the way from Texas with an incredible story to tell. After receiving a leg amputation due to an injury, he’s now living his best life as a tripod. He’s won over the hearts of our staff and volunteers with his charm and resilience.

Yondu’s dashing side smile (thanks to his uniquely shaped jaw) is just one of the many reasons you’ll fall in love with him. 🥰

This social butterfly has lived with and adored the company of other dogs, cats, and even children! He’s proof that imperfections only make you more perfect. Could Yondu be your next best friend? Come meet him today! 🏡💖

MARK YOUR CALENDARS and join us for a FUNdraiser at Ryan's Amusements in Settlers Green Outlet Village on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. Ryan's will donate 20% of Airpark, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and card sales to the Conway Area Humane Society, and all you have to do is bring this flyer (if you forget don't worry we will have some printed out at the door too 😉).
