About the trainer: MJ is an accomplished rider and trainer, who has trained 5 horses up to the Grand Prix Level. She has worked with acclaimed trainers such as USDF Hall of Fame Master Horseman Charles De Kunffy, USDF gold medalist Gerd Reuter, and Olympian Hilda Gurney. MJ cites Sarah Jane Clark, a foremost expert on classical dressage and Spanish horses, as her greatest inspiration. She is also heavily influenced by rider and trainer Jean Francois Favier, an O-level judge, Olympic competitor, and head rider at the Cadre Noir in Saumur, France.

MJ’s teaching philosophy centers around empathy for the horse and rider. Her foundational tenets as a trainer are patience, kindness, and, always, a sense of humor. Her program is centered around creating clear effective communication, lightness, balance, and safety for horse and rider.

We still have stalls available at $400/mo with pasture turn out. Hay is included and dropped daily. All stalls have rubber mats and fresh shavings. There is a wash bay with hot and cold water. Stall boards get two saddle racks, and a tack box, access to indoor and outdoor arenas as well as round pens. There is also a bathroom available for public use.

We also still have a few spots for pasture board at $250/mo.

Trainer on site if your horse needs a tune up or daily care.

We are looking for someone who is interested in teaching western riding lessons. Right now, this is very part time, and would need a lot of flexibility and someone who can work after school hours. There is a lot of potential for growth if you are interested in growing a lesson program. We are not looking for English trainers, and we are not looking for horse trainers. We have had the best time at camp over the past 2 weeks! We've made banana pudding, pizza, ice cream and goldfish, all from scratch. We've made dry ice bubbles, slime, lava lamps, and held fire in our hands. We've painted rocks, tables, each other, and that's only on one side of camp. These girls have been learning to ride. Learned the difference in gaited and non gaited horses. Learned how to tack up and why we wrap horses legs. Learned to pick hooves and why a saddle is designed the way it is. They've gone on trail rides and had loads of fun in the indoor and outdoor arenas. If this sounds like fun to you, call and sign up! We still have spots available every Monday and Thursday for the rest of the summer!

We are looking for a couple of dead broke horses that we could put into our lesson program. We are offering discounted rates on pasture or stall board if you have something that could fit the bill. PM for more info.

Our outdoor arena is officially ready! With it's concrete sand and French drains, this 100'x200' arena could have a torrential downpour and it's not holding water. We have drop in and private rental options available. We also have stall and pasture board available. All of our pastures have run ins, plenty of grass, and a spring fed creek to give the horses fresh and clean water year round. Tack room for boarders, and wash bay for anyone inside of the barn. Round pens on property as well. We have a trainer on site that can help with your horse or give riding lessons. English and Western lessons available. We still have stalls available for full care board at $400 per month. That includes hay and shavings as well as access to both arenas, the heated wash bay and trails around the property!

Pasture boarders get the same amenities as stall boarders just no stall! We do have run ins in every pasture! There is also a spring fed creek that runs through each pasture providing the horses with fresh, clean drinking water year round.

We also have spots available for training! Training is 600$ per month!
