Had such a great weekend hanging with Roxanne and Dean. Full of intense hours of stray cat patrol, “baths” complements of Roxanne and cuddle puddle naps watching nature documentaries. Looking forward to their pleasant company again in March. 🥰 🐾

I’ll probably leave this guy to the authorities.

Heads up, Coppell! Our Animal Services team has confirmed that there is an alligator in town, and it has been spotted in the northeastern portion of Coppell, in and around the small ponds and tributaries along Denton Creek.

For your safety, DO NOT swim, fish, or enter water ways in the area, and DO NOT feed the alligator. Alligators are a regulated species, and City staff is unable to remove or relocate our new reptilian resident without authorization from Texas Parks and Wildlife.

We have been in contact with Texas Parks and Wildlife, and we’ll keep you updated as we learn more!
