I know that in this financial landscape it is difficult to find the resources to help your dog through their separation-related behaviors. That is why I have completely re-worked my packages to find a way to keep your costs down while still providing the integral support you and your dog need.
If cost is something that has been an obstacle to you getting help for your dog, please reach out to learn more.

I hope you all are having a happy holiday season!
If you have a friend or family member who has a dog with separation-related behaviors, remember your support is one of the best gifts you can give them! What does that look like? It could be:
- being a soft place to land as they help their dog through the ups and downs of home alone training
- volunteering to watch their dog so they can have some ‘me’ time
- giving them a gift card for a consultation with a SA Pro
If you have a dog with separation anxiety make sure you check out my blog about coping with a dog with separation anxiety during the holidays!
All my best 🥰
Whether you are working with me, someone else, or on your own, if you are working on helping your dog feel home alone & happy, well done 🎉
Keep up the great training 🥰

While all the teams I work with are really awesome 🤩, this week I wanted to call out some duration milestones.
Team Amaroq has reached 30 minutes of comfortable alone time (including distractions like the post man coming)
Team Rusty has reached over 20 minutes of super chill alone time
Let’s celebrate help all the hard work it takes to achieve these goals and the commitment these teams have to helping their dogs be successful 🙌

Dog bark for all sorts of reasons. It is a normal, species-typical way for them to communicate.
In the context of home alone training, there are 4 main areas that can negatively affect training. Look out for this week’s Tails from the Dog House podcast to learn more about them and what you can do to mitigate the impact on home alone training.

For a lot of us, the weekend means more time to chill, enjoy the things we love, and connect with friends & family.
Sometimes having a dog with separation-related behaviors can make that difficult. Reach out if you need help with ideas on how to make that a bit easier 🥰
Fun fact: This is one of my favorite places to run 🏃♀️

In our recent conversation with the wonderful Zazie Todd on Tails from the Dog House, we got on to cats.
I know that is a little off topic, but since many of us dog lovers also love cats we went with it!
There are some 'mythconceptions' that cats can't be trained or that they don't need enrichment.
I get how you would think that since they are generally a bit more 'self-contained' than our canine friends, but we can do better!
Wondering what your cat might enjoy? Check out Zazie's book- Purr: The Science of Making Your Cat Happy released in early May (you can pre-order now).
Not a cat person? Then read the dog version - Wag: The Science of Making Your Dog Happy (currently available).
Better yet, read both :)
For fun, here are some photos of Boots joining in on training opportunities 😸
👏Celebration time 🥳
Team Bria has been hard at work... and while they have hit some obstacles along the way, they have stuck with the process and are up to 30 minutes of home alone time!
Well done! 🤩
This week on Tails from the Dog House, we tackle some listener questions. Who knows, one of them might be a question you've been wondering about ?!
Can you do us a favor? Can you like, subscribe, rate, review, or even share our podcast? That really helps others find us. Thanks :)
Our next episode of Tails from the Dog House is focused on answering your questions- or at least discussing possible answers :)
Comment here with your questions- or message me if you are more comfortable with that. Sarah, Ness, and I are looking forward to hearing from you!
Congratulations to Eva and Lewis! Marco broke the 30 minute barrier! Wahoo 🥳
Eva and Lewis have been so dedicated to the training process and have gotten really creative when times have called for it - they are super stars 🤩
You all already know that I think my clients are the very best- for the work they put in, for their openness, and for the things they sacrifice in the short/ mid-term to help their dogs feel comfortable at home.
💥They are nothing short of amazing 💥
Bria's mom, Meghan, sent me this video to show the awesomeness of Bria :) It'll make you smile. I love it... and have watched it 1 million times already. Wait for Meghan's giggle at the end; it is one of my favorite parts
It is SUCH a great reminder to take some time to appreciate your dog!
Feel free to share what you love about your dog; you know I am a total sucker for that kind of stuff!🤗
