Volunteer Notes: He was laying down when I walked up to his kennel, super easy to leash and walk outside. He is a tall and skinny dude, he needs to put on some extra weight. His elbows have calluses and he has scratches all over his face and goopy eyes. He probably hasn’t had the best life but heal is still super sweet and wiggles his entire butt, the cutest thing. He has the cutest big ol’ paws too. He’s a little shy but I don’t blame him, it looks like he’s had a rough life. He went potty right away once outside too. He looks like he never fully developed into his body so he walks like a big ol’ puppy trying to get used to his big paws.

🔥🔥URGENT HELP NEEDED 🔥🔥

This poor dog needs help. Victorino came to the shelter with a gruesome wound to his right eyelid. The shelter's vet has stitched him back up and we're hopeful that he'll be able to heal well, especially since it looks like his left eye was already damaged or congenitally deformed.

If we can get a commitment for him, we can pull him into our rescue!

Victorino doesn't let his eye issues get him down though - this sweet boy is super happy, waggy, and bouncy... for now. Unfortunately, he's sure to be on the euth list soon, unless a rescue steps up for him!

Male - Border Collie Mix - 1 Year - 65 lbs
Left eye - appears to have microphthalmia. No treatment needed at this time, enucleation may be an option.
Right eye - upper lid wound has been clipped and cleaned. Receiving medication, should heal with time.
