We are pleased to announce that Jenny Falvey will conduct a seminar on dog behavior called When Behavior Isn't What You Think It Is. This seminar will take place on Thursday 11/7/24 at 6:00 pm at Dogsmartz Unleashed 2460 Elm Rd NE. Jenny has been a Professional dog trainer since for more than 32 years she is a Certified Behavior Consultant .(CBCC-KA) one of just 200 world wide, she also is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). We will explore: Real motivators behind behavior, behavior that look similar but have different meanings, the medical component behind behavior and how to be a "pet detective" to help decipher your own dog's behaviors. Some examples to be covered you may see dog jumping excessively, but sometimes that's not actually social jumping, it could be something else or a dog who is frantically drinking water may not be just thirsty or a dog who frantically pulls on the leash it may not be because they don't know how to walk on a leash it maybe something else. Thank you to the Kohls cares team that helped us SO much on Sunday! We can not thank them enough for volunteering their time to our organization. They’ve hound joined us at quite a few of our events and they are always willing to jump in when and where is needed.
