So....we have had a lot of changes in the last couple of months, both personal and business. I wanted to thank all my clients for their never ending patience while we sort through everything.

Let them Lay!!!

Do you notice anything missing in the 1st picture? No? Well, anyone that is familiar with aging dogs will. They will notice the absence of the sloped back or wall lean. Most dogs, but especially older dogs, can not spend an entire grooming session standing. It is very uncomfortable. As groomers, we train the dogs to have good table manners, but sometimes we forget that they should be trained to be comfortable on the table. Don't need them to stand? Let them sit or even lay down. There will come a time where they can no longer stand there. It is harder to untrain years of "stand up" then it is to allow them to decide. This ends up being even harder on them with the constant up and downs.
Is it harder to work on them? Yes
Is the groom show ready? No
Does it take longer? Yes

But...you know what else?
Are they happier? Yes
Are they more comfortable? Yes
Are they less stressed? Yes

This is the other part of humanity before vanity. Miss blubelle here spent 2 hours in my van when she normally takes 1¹/²hrs. Two hours and she spent a grand total of 15mins standing. The outcome? A happier, more comfortable girl that was running in the yard as soon as she was done and will go for her evening walk vs laying inside hurting for the rest of the day.

We are in the process of working out all the details for our first nail trim day. Looks like it will be in the lot on the corner of 1st and Pine Street in Hamilton. We are looking at doing it on April 26th, but that day is currently not definite. Will offer a few small services like nail trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, minor brushing and possibly some minor foot/sanitary trimming. We will not be doing full grooms or baths. Our raffle tickets will also be available for purchase. We may even offer pup cups 🥤 🐶😋!

Are there any requests you would like to see us offer? We are open to suggestions.

This will be cash only! All proceeds will be saved up to purchase a much needed van. We will keep you updated on a for sure date so keep a look out 👀!

Good Morning to all my wonderful clients!!

I have decided we will hold a monthly raffle for a free groom starting March 1st. Every month will start a new one with the drawing taking place on the last day. We will be doing this for all of 2024, and maybe longer if there is lots of interest. That will be a chance at 10 free grooms 😳! We may even try to throw in a little extra something to make the deal a little sweeter 🥰. This will be a cash only raffle for $10 each or 6 for $50. All proceeds will be going toward the purchase of a much needed van. The hope is to find one by the end of this year. With a little bit of help and a lot of luck, we may be able to do it. Thank you for all your continued support! This is all possible because of you.

Had the pleasure of grooming this adorable little guy today😍! He is available at the shelter. Go check him out before he is snatched up. He sure won't be there long. I may or may not have taken a "few" breaks to play with him 🤭🤫! Honestly, who could resist him though!?

Charlie and I have exciting news 🤩!

In the somewhat near future, we will be big celebrities!! Ok, maybe just a little show in Montana, but not bad for a small town girl. If you have always wanted to see what happens behind the scenes, you can get a glimpse of what I do on a daily basis. Stay tuned in for a date!

There's some excitement happening with Groom on the Vroom next week! We will be filming with a couple of young ladies for UM. They will be following me for a day and we will be doing an interview over the weekend. They are putting together a film for a school project. If it's good, it will star on PBS 😳! Basically, we will be your local celebrity 😉. All I ask, is you please hold off on all autographs until a later date 😙🤣.

In memory of two great pups, Rosie and Maple's adoption fee has been paid.

Rosie - Rosie is a beautiful 11 month old American bully. She is very friendly and would absolutely love to take a spot next to you on the couch and maybe sneak a kiss or two 😉. She is good with kids and other animals.

Maple - Maple is a 3 year old American Bully that is looking for her next belly scratcher! She is good with kids, animals and livestock. This gorgeous girl would be a great side kick.

RIP Chico and Junior. It was a pleasure to be your groomer.
