For horse scheduling, please contact me via text or phone call. Due to Linda Troncin’s new part-time commitment, I recognized the need to reassume scheduling responsibilities to avoid overburdening her.

I appreciate client referrals, but I am currently not accepting new clients beyond those already scheduled. My schedule is fully committed at present, though referrals are welcome to be added to a waitlist.

From February to July. Foundered donkey trimmed with sedation. I’m excited to see his feet are making progress to a healthier hoof quicker than myself and the vet both anticipated. Don’t mind the onlyfans poses he showing off, he was still a little drunk, LOL! Super pleased with how well he’s progressing and happy to work with owners who listen and follow advice to help stop the founder/laminitis cycle!

Just when you think you’ve figured things out, life throws a curve ball!

We are excited to announce that Chris has been accepted into U of L Engineering Program to finish his masters. With this will come a decreased work schedule so he can attend class so I have taken on a part time job working 10 hour days so that when the time comes for him to cut his hours we aren’t without health benefits. As most know, I had a thyroidectomy in 2022 so good insurance is a necessity.

This means that Linda Troncin will be scheduling me to shoe/trim on Thursdays and Fridays only. This also unfortunately means I need to decrease my travel area to ensure there is enough of me to get to the horses I can 2 days a week every 6 weeks and not kill myself in the process.

At this time 40 minutes from my farm in Central is my travel limit and you must be on an every 6 week schedule. I am no longer able to fit in last minute requests outside of existing clients with a hoof emergency.

Linda and I will be reaching out to those that will need to find another farrier to give them names and numbers of others they can reach out to care for their horses. I apologize for the short notice and hope everyone understands.

Went to the Derby City Horseshoeing Association hammer in and learned a few things. Made something while there I’m a little proud of. Good hammer control practice making the rose.

If you have reached out to me recently for farrier work and I haven’t responded yet I apologize! Life has been crazy the last week or so with my daughter needing an emergency C-Section. Mom and grandson are doing great! I will be returning calls and working on scheduling everyone today while I have my other 3 grand babies today.

This is why I go to clinics, seek out educated and experienced farriers, work with equine veterinarians, and read all that I can about this trade. I strive to do my best work everyday and to learn all I can to make your equine’s job and life better from my care.

I’m blessed to have an amazing support system of awesome colleagues that I can reach out to with questions or hard cases I come across. This is the most supportive and interesting industry I’ve ever had the opportunity to work in and I’M HOOKED ON HOOVES!!!
