Gluten/grain free Apple Dutch baby for breakfast
We love this delicious pancake. Make in a cast iron skillet
Caramelize apples in skillet with 🍎 with butter, sugar and cinnamon while mixing 2 eggs, 1/3 cup almond flour, 2 tbsp. Tapioca or arrowroot flour, 1 tbsp. Sugar, 1/4 cup milk, cinnamon and cardamom. Top apples and bake @400 degrees for 13 minutes.
We serve with 🍁 maple syrup or 🍯 honey and our thick creamy 🐐 goat milk yogurt

Time for rest, introspection and to look beneath the surface to bring anything hidden into the light. I was thinking about the mud, muck and gloom yesterday as we sloshed around feeding the animals, and the old dead decaying brown leaves. We leave mostly everything like the summer sunflowers and fall asters until spring to provide shelter, food and protection to the vast ecosystem...the many birds, woodland creatures and insects here. On the outside, the terrain looks brown, dead and ugly to the eye. But if we look deeply,we realize its part of the cycle of life, fertilization that promotes beautiful growth, renewal and possibility abound underneath. Many birds are eating the seeds we left and life hides, waiting patiently, beneath the decaying leaves. This is a time to be still. To manifest. Its a perfect time to plan the garden.

Self care Sunday. What will you do for yourself today? I started my day with ☕ coffee and 45 min. Weights/ cardio and now going to care for the other beings here on the farm.
Making sure your own cup is filled up is very important and paramount to offering quality care and interactions with others. Viewing this farm as an ecosystem includes us! We want all beings here to be happy and well cared for.

It really is amazing dealing with high butterfat milk in our 🧀 cheesemaking adventures. We ain't got none of that lowfat or fatfree stuff around here. We will have kids in the spring. Accepting reservations. 🐐
