This bo**er baby was way too little to be in that big ol trap!! Risked everything to clean her face and that was the moment she knew she wanted to be loved. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Big thanks to Trish for bringing her in for medical attention, Stock-Aid Veterinary Clinic for fixing her up with initial vaccs and antibiotic treatment, Bill for providing her rehab, and Paw Prints in Dawson County for all the help !!

Trapped in Lexington, June 20th, this handsome boy was a straight forward TNR with no issues, other than getting hot and thirsty during the car ride home!
(no a/c in the Catr wagon)

Catr was called when this little baby was discovered injured and hiding under a tree.

Unfortunately, his back and pelvis were broken and he was beyond saving 💔 he was given the final act of kindness, now he lies in the most peaceful meadow...

So sorry little one 💙 I'm glad we were able to make your last few days peaceful and comfortable.. 🙏 rest in peace 🕊

Beautiful baby girl was hanging around the local grocery store where the employees nicknamed her "mango" 💝

She had an allergic reaction to the stitches from her spay incision, and had to go back for extra care. Luckily she's all better now and has been adopted by a kind hearted cowboy! You go, Mango !! 🥳

CAT TRAPPING TIP:

You MUST cover the trap up immediately after the cat is in the trap. It makes them feel a little bit safer and often quickly quiets them down from injuring themselves trying to get out.
It’s almost cruel not to cover them up with anything and transport them like that, please don’t do that 😢

We often use blankets or trap covers. Easy peasy.

This lovely russian blue male was trapped early April by JM Arciga 🩶 He doesn't have a tail, but when you have all other limbs, WHY (want) MORE ? 😃
His surgery and recovery went well, but lately he's stopped showing up for evening meals. Keeps your eyes out, west Cozad! We hope he's still with us 🙏

Update: Mama is back at Catr HQ 🙄
Kittens are loving their new barn with private track room 💝 they're spayed and have settled in very nicely with their new guardian "Kiki," a barn native.

Such a bittersweet day ...

Mama Cat plus daughter and son are all set up in the barn of their new home.
Babies have NEVER been outside... they were born in my storage room after rescuing laboring mama from a front stoop.
It will be 1-2 week transition using a holding pen. EVERYONE (including me) will need to stay strong. So far, the little ones are rolling with the punches and are having fun acclimating to the straw and the cold ... Mama, however, is not impressed and thinks the overall service could improve. 💅
Good luck sweet little family ... I'll be checking on you often.
