Who better to kick off the Valentine’s 💘 day photo shoot than ….. OLD MAN ELMER ! Poor grandpa bun spent his whole life being unloved and neglected outdoors . Fast forwarded to a couple of months ago, when Elmer and his family were rescued and rehabbed. Now they are shown more love and affection than they know what to do with ! Hermie is as close to an emotional- support- pet as you can get . Chill and mushy he loves to snuggle. Hermie is a  neutered, middle-age male, who we believe would make a great bonding candidate. Our foster Guinea Pig “Miss Piggy” is a very unique critter. Miss piggy is 💯 sure that she is NOT a Guinea pig , and therefore wants nothing to do with them . She was bullied out of her female herd in a previous home, which I’m sure has something to do to with that . She is an older lady and sassy as hell . Today Happy Tails rescue reached out to me with a potential adopter for Miss Piggy and my heart sank . Miss Piggy has become part of the BunVoyage family. I can’t imagine the rescue room without her yelling at me whenver I open the fridge. . So …..while she may not be (in her mind ) a Guinea Pig, as of today a she IS an official resident of Bun- Voyage : Rabbit Sanctuary , Resort & Salon. Welcome home you old brat , I love you 💕

FOSTER ALERT 🚨
Our second foster is Hermie . What an extra special soul he is . When Willys Wabbits 2.0 first rescued him he was in TERRIBLE SHAPE . When he came here to be cleaned up, his skin was so filthy it was splitting and infected . Despite the pain , he sat so patiently while we painstakingly cleaned him up and after a few weeks of TLC with Tammie Wilson he is as good as new .

Hermie is a Middle aged , neutered , holland lop . When I tell you that this boy is the sweetest bunny on the planet 🌎, I’m not lying . He will sit in your arms for hours , soaking in all the love he never had before . Super chill bun. He is wonderful with his litter box and may make a great bonding partner for a middle aged, spayed female .

What would I do without my resident bunny/piggie cuddler ? It’s crazy how even the most skiddish animals are so comfy with Mason (my oldest of 3) . Foster “Miss Piggy” is such a good girl , and still searching for her forever family through Happy Tails rescue . If anyone wants a tween boy - once his report card arrives, Mason will likely be available for adoption as well.
