Old man Elmer had a very big day visiting Mommy at work (Cranford Animal Hospital) ! Can’t you just see the excitement on his face 😒?! He slept through 90% of the adventure , briefly waking up for some treats before passing out on my shoulder again . 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lots of clients this week . Some fuzzy , some smooth , some large , some small, some 4 legs, some 3!? 3?? Yep, our extra special friend, Pablo (last photo ), is a recent tripod and needs a little help keeping his bottom clean . We are always happy to help this sweetie out.

If you haven’t figured it out by now - Elmer has joined the sanctaury crew as a permanent resident here at Bun- Voyage : Rabbit Sanctuary , Resort & Salon. He has an expanded pen and is loving the extra room. I am weighing the pros and cons of keeping Robin (Willy’s wabbit foster ) as well. I see her condition progressing and I feel she may need an amputation within the next couple of years . I have a hard time trusting anyone with these sorts of situations 😬. Stay tuned …

Hi there ! It’s me , Miffy ! You may have heard of my dad, old man Elmer , who is a sanctaury resident at Bun- Voyage : Rabbit Sanctuary , Resort & Salon I’ve been a foster at BunVoage for a month , and have had a blast ,BUT, it’s time to find a home of my own ! I am a giant angora , about 12 lbs and the size of a medium/large cat. Speaking of cats, I’m perfectly litter box trained. I’m also spayed , friendly and very playful. I do need a lot of space since I’m young, large and very active. I would do well as a free roam house bunny one day . My hair , well, thats a bit of a project . Because I am an angora ,my hair grows and grows . If I’m not groomed regularly I will develop painful mats. Luckily I am very good about being brushed every other day ; and for shearing (every 2-3) months I can visit Kacie Melissa at the BunVoyage spa. Ok, Old Man Elmer fans , you are in for a treat. The first time I saw Elmer do this, I thought he was having a seizure and I panicked. Since then, I’ve seen him “dream groom” quite a few times. He is fast asleep, getting his groom on, in dream land . What a goofy old soul he is .

Poor Buster , always gets the bottom floor . I can’t believe Pearl (top) and Jellybean (middle ) are going to be EIGHT! I still remember my shock finding them dumped on my porch before they were even weaned. These sisters are the BunVoyage O.G.s- they watched the sanctaury grow and flourish . They have seen dozens and dozens come and go . They opened their hearts to fuzzy Buster when he needed bondmates , and they have all been inseparable for 6 years now .
