I’m beyond excited to watch Jane Ashmore Reinert and Rosie be Rockstars at the TDOC trial. Judge Leslie Hunt Gregory had nice flowing courses. They got 1st place in Novice A std and jww. I’m tickled watching their journey as a team from day 1. Congratulations 🎉🎉🐾🐾🏆💜💚

April is upon us so this is what I’m thinking for classes.

Small sequences Tuesday 4,11,18 at 5:30pm (NEW TIME) hoping it won’t be too hot. If your going to Perry let me know.

Coursework Wednesday 5, 19 at 5:30 (NEW TIME).

Small sequences Wednesday 5, 12, 19 at 7pm.

I’m hoping to bring back an Intro to Agility in May. I have a couple of people that contacted me. This would be Tuesday 2,9,16,23, 30 at 7pm

Today is the day!

You can now register for our free, live training on How to Prevent Injuries in Agility Dogs.

The training will be hosted on Monday, January 16th at 7 PM EST on Zoom.

Basics is where it’s at.

Everybody wants to get to the advanced level, but what they don't realize is that the advanced exercises are nothing more than having better basics. When your basics are really good, your advanced exercises will already be halfway done for you. The truth that nobody wants to hear is that when you run into trouble it's because you haven't done a good enough job on your basics.

Agility classes starting first week of October. It’s Tyme to think what you would like to be offered. Classes will be on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. I can also do mornings if enough interest in that.

I will be offering master full coursework on Wednesday.

Intro to agility will be Monday.

Small sequences which we could do which way is better, this or that?

Distractions on weaves and contacts?

Skills and drills?

Puppy foundations?

Here is your chance to let me know what you want in your classes. I need at least 3 dogs to make up a class. Let’s get ready for fall and cool weather.

Often training ‘problems’ with our dogs, are actually struggles with ourselves—against ego, expectation, impatience, frustration, the tendency to blame, the opinion of others, the fear of failure, etc.

True perspective I think, is afforded in retrospect. As I get older I realize these struggles, in a way, can actually be blessings, although very difficult to see in the moment.
The person that we become, in moving past life’s challenges, is often a better version of ourselves.

How you train and your success as a teacher is connected to your mindset—it shows in the quality of your work, your dogs attitude and his enthusiasm.
Being a good partner to your dog includes a lot of working on and improving of yourself—and it is absolutely worth it.

I’m excited to welcome Stacy to FL. Stacy has been competing and training for over 20 yrs in agility. She has been on numerous world teams and competing overseas.
